After the Dynasty, I think this is the best Optic roster we've ever got since the founding of CDL. Dashy's growth(from IW to now), Shotzzy's play style, Pred being the humble young player on the team and Ken being the veteran of the team.

We need a minimum of two lans a month have all the challengers teams enter and do a massive pool play. Do it Thursday through Sunday twice a month. Grow this league
do you have any idea how much itll cost to put on 2 lans a month, cost of flying all players out,hotel fees ,transportation,feeding them,paying all the workers behind the scene,renting out the venue, prize money etc lmao some of yall are so clueless it almost amazes me

@detmostwant yeah I feel you. I suspect it's because nowadays in the CDL-era, the organizations themselves didn't receive enough funding because the league took most of the revenue and forced the teams to fund their own events. And that's on top of the $25 million buy in that they had to worry about. Glad they rescinded that and changed up a bunch of things a month or so ago. Someone can probably explain more accurately but I know things haven't been great in the CDL lol

Bro, I’m really hopeful this can be the year for the optic guys (would be ok with anyone winning, champs is just free dope), but I do sometimes worry about Dashy and Pred never being in a Worlds GF. I wonder if it matters much (probably shouldn’t) but you never know. Kenny really is a godsend for this roster.

I’ve been a big fan of Dashy since I seen the 5 piece live!!!!! I was a huge formal fan so I hated optic but I seen formal potential in Dashy in Bo4 and now I see him as his own he’s great just needs to put it all together and win champs!!!!!! That’s all brothers
To be a Dynasty in the CDL I truly feel like you need an MW2 NY season at least 2 seasons in a row with a still dominate 3rd season. Back to back champs is the only thing that I think would solidify a modern day Dynasty. I do think the faze boys are a 3 man Dynasty. Once they have their forever 4th and win it's settled
I’m curious to see Champs Sunday records for players in the CDL versus CWL for comparison. As a general trend I’d argue Sunday records for almost all players would be higher in the pre-CDL era given there were fewer stacked teams and more events to build a better sample size. The FaZe record looks bad on paper but it shouldn’t devalue the fact that overall they have been the most successful franchise since the CDL began.

If there's anything that the history of professional sports has taught us, it's that you can't compare eras. In the NBA, it's Wilt vs Jordan vs Kobe vs LeBron. The CWL and CDL are clearly different eras.
The thing is people forget Dashy got hoed when it came down to the OGLA situation. People tore in to Dashy for a while because of that even though he was done terribly in that situation

Okay so the numbers on Sunday for OpTic are completely wrong! With Nadeshot if they are 9-1 then that’s 90%, enable 5-0 is 100% which is right, and with Karma 48-12 would be 75%, and overall it would be 62-13 for fight at 80%
Those really were the most free chips that Enable got while playing for Optic lol
So we jist gonna skip the fact that Vikul cant play against optic, Erik cant come in as a sub either. So Purj is back in the league temporarily????

I think each of the three cod dynasties are flawed in some way. The current Faze core 3 over the last 4+ years haven't closed out and won enough tournaments. The Optic jetpack dynasty totally flopped twice at champs placing 8th. The col/EG dynasty was the most dominant but was it even around long enough to be considered a true dynasty? They really only dominated for a little longer than a year (2nd half of blops 2 and 1st half of Ghosts)
Sometimes wish we could go back in time and just erase MW19 and make sure MW19 never happened. Squad Spawns, Stupid Doors on Maps, Domination 3rd Gamemode, Tac Sprint, MW Engine, Maps in General, No Dead Silence. That whole game was a giant L. Warzone is fine but should have never been soo linked to cod and should have no influence on how games are made coz we been fucking stuck with the same bullshit game for 5 years excluding CW.
I hate the narrative that old cod player played plumbers because at the end of the day those was the best at that time. It’s like that in every sport but in cod it’s so little time and yet it’s already the excuse for why Faze don’t win as much. I personally think it’s the format if it was back then playing 4-6 games on Sunday it seemed like to now you only played more then 2-3 games on Sunday.
