my left ear enjoyed this
I used to think the ketchup guy was so cool when I was 9.
I just gotta wonder how anyone could dislike any of these videos?🤔😖😳
A lot of memories here. Thanks for sharing!
4:33 this commercial shows the quintessential 80s hairstyles. 😀
I was only a few months old when this commercial aired!
Awww. I was two at the time and I remember some of these.
The "Designing Women" episode is "Great Expectations" (OAD: January 4, 1988).
11:35 the great Bonnie Herman on the famous State Farm tagline jingle.
Some of the most greatest nostalgic commercials ever :-) thank you for uploading

Happy New Year:-)
This is a wonderful television commercial for L'eggs Sheer Elegance pantyhose featuring some of the most beautiful women in the world including Emmy Award winner Kirstie Alley of the Cheers, Star Trek II, Look Who's Talking and Dancing with the Stars fame.
The theme song "Legs" was performed by ZZ Top. Arranged by Michael Kamen. Conducted by Geoffrey Simon.
Orchestrators Chris Boardman, Jeremy Lubbock, Jorge Calandrelli, Alexander Courage, Connie Stevens, Joel Rosenbaum,
Jerry Hey, Richard Howarth, Fred Steiner, Jack Hayes and Randy Kerber.
Musicians Michael Boddicker, Michael Fisher, Ralph Grierson, Judd Miller, Ian Underwood, Larry Strickland, Kat Kramer,
Miss Pat Carroll and Rita Faye Wilson.
Barbara Eden, Narrator: Some women live in Sheer Elegance. The pantyhose that looks and feels like real silk
from the Orient. Slogan: She's got L'eggs (September 15, 1985 - present).
L'eggs Supports Great Legs. Join Us Today. Ask for it by name. In stores now.
Spot aired April 18, 1988 on WUSA/CBS.
And that's the Coca-Cola Torch Lady! On the DVD, it had the 1993 logo. So even though this is a rerun, at least this airing kept the original closing logo.
Vahan Nisanian until it switched to the cpt cpe torch lady.
To make matters worse, most of the long running programs such as "Designing Women" which had the 1992-2002
Columbia Pictures Television Distribution logo under Sony Pictures Entertainment on repeats when it first aired on
syndication in mid-September 1992, but not the Sony Pictures Television logo from Fall 2002-present.
Yikes I was in 8th grade in 88 christ were as the time gone lol 🤘🍻🌲😤
ok! ok! I'll buy your windows!
22:30 WOW! I never thought those two fireplugs could look so hot.
@ 8:04; “What is the Strait of Magellan?”
WUSA! Local station I had no reason to watch. About two months before I went to basic training at FT. Dix.
12:35 She looks just like Susan Sarandon.
It's Kristine Sutherland, the mother from Buffy the Vampire Slayer
She’s now married to John
Pankow since 1984 and have
great kids.
What did they say for the CBS bumpers?
8:28 Sight unseen, I'd still rather have Steve Vinovich's car!
I was 12 years old living in Bensonhurst Brooklyn at the time
The day before I turned 6, I miss being a kid. I remember my mother got me a coconut 🥥 cake 🎂 with red❤️, white🤍 and blue💙 shaved coconuts🥥 on it, I didn't like coconuts so I didn't eat it the guest at my party🎉🎈did.
8:10: Hyundai Excel.
27:15 Cuba Gooding, Jr.
80"s women were the standard of sexy
50's women and back: Elegance
60's women: Hip
70's women: Coolness
90's women: Trendy
00's women on: Sluttiness
@@pannoni8449 We'll go with the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s instead.
Ever notice how men in the late 1980s called other men "Babe" all the time?
No
8:40 Bissell Carpet Machine Plus
16:57 time for a Coke!
this is probably the last episode with both mansion scene and season 1-2 closing combo, and with the Suzanne Ciani jingle/Coca Cola byline. original airdate 1/4/88, so from the next episode onward, they would use custom scenes with the season 1-2 closing theme or some other varied closing theme, different music in each episode. and the CPT jingle would be a horn with twinkles for the rest of the show's run.
Second Time Around 1-11-88 CPT jingle/byline changed by then....i'm guessing.
At the time Timothy Thompson (who was Linda’s cousin) took over the duties from Grammy Award nominee Suzanne Ciani-
Anderson to help score an all new fanfare for Columbia Pictures Television since September 18, 1981 on most popular shows and
features under the Sony Pictures Entertainment banner from June
25, 1985-present.
I noticed the ads with blacks, they’re ALL black… with whites, they’re ALL white
Who puts yellow mustard on their salad... Gross
Those tv shows?????......horrible...
All TV sucks, especially modern pop culture.
Oldsmobile cutlass was such a piece of garbage
Well, it was my father's Oldsmobile.
The new generation of
Oldsmobile. Ran from September 1985 to June 1992, during its seven year run.
