Disgusting about the Gun seizure! No issue with the Police doin their job and seizing. Great about owner following the letter of the Law and only allowing FA officers to seize (shame about the normal plod not following or knowing the law)
But! The Police are here to protect and serve yes? They protected with the seizure, but now theres no concerns, why can they not serve Lewis? They have enough medical peeps assistance for their own officers So if theres a concern and a medical required, surely this should be provided by the seizing force?!
Fingers crossed this gets some traction and Lewis can get an assessment and his Guns back!

Great segment on elevated airgun targeting Terry, difficult to practice in the field without a hoisted targeting system with back stop. Not keen drilling trees with lead or trying to find hanging fruits/fir cones.

It seems that many instructors in the UK don't teach the Natural Point of Aim in the UK, unless I missed it in Terry Doe's tutorials.
I dont think the wife has been very honest.
She has set the police on this guy because she was angry and has told them he is a danger and he has threatened this that and the others.
This sits on the wife calling the police. She has used the police to get him. She knew what woukd happen and has done this out of spite. I wouldnt be surprised is she files for divorce and uses this "incident" as proof he is a danger.

Feel sorry for the chap who had his gun seized but why would his wife do that to him. Funny how the cpsa chairman is at the sporting shoot we had the England skeet selection at doveridge a couple off weeks ago and never saw sight nor sign off any off them there only interesting in the sporting.
Targets and Tins have had issues without using the G word, ban after each ban is lifted!
Any Police officer, being a crown agent can take and transport the firearms, however, it would always be best to have an officer who is firearms trained but remember firearms officers are not firearms experts.
In regards to the seizures of guns this appears to been carried out correctly. It doesn't need to be afo so the person has only wasted more of time along with the response officers.
If you want to keep guns divorce the wife first.
People should not hand there guns over to any police.
They tried it with my friend a few months ago he said no you’re not taking them. They said they would get a warrant and come back he said fine , they then told him to report to the local police station as this point he got some advice from the cpsa .
When he went to the station he was told he had to hand over his shot gun and firearms certificates, he followed the advice and refused to surrender anything.
Still has his guns and hasn’t heard anymore.
Is he in prison yet.
