great write up and i feel like this is the most realistic review. Your the only one on youtube who would rather have a better product even if it was a couple oz's more

Great visual! I like how you showed externally before putting it inside. I have the bv500 and the Aura AG 65 (Women's version of your pack).

Nice! I think bear canister/kegs are a very wise choice. Having the keg is a good option to have. I have heard that there are places in the Adirondacks that the kegs are recommended over the clear bear vaults. Think they had a “genius” momma bear figure out how to bite the tabs just right and taught her cubs. So not only did you save some money with your choice, you opened up more options for your self. Because many ultralight backpackers don’t want to carry the weight, you don’t hear so much about them. I am starting out with one, just because I don’t want to be the cause of an animal being euthanized because it became habituated and overly familiar the people coming into its home. Great video. By the way Sir, you have a great singing voice! God bless.

I say you canister in your last video. Be the way I enjoyed it. Making it hard to give the energy you do.

Never seen a pack packed wrong; just one that takes too long to get to what you need. ;) Stay strong. Stay safe.

When using the bear keg, why not put your sit pad in the hydration sleeve? That assumes you're not using a bladder.

You are right. It ends on your pack and the ability to pack your gear correctly. What type of pack do you use?

@@3picAdventuresLLC I use the same pack and I turn mine sideways at the bottom of the pack above the bottom pouch. So it's still easy access and leaves me more room above it. I just use the zipper that gives access to the main compartment if I need to take the canister out for any reason.
Edit. Sorry I has the aether, so not sure if yours has that compartment access.
