Ur sack fails bears can rip into them. The bear vault you showed can fail in 2 ways the beat chews off the tabs or a bear rolls it off a 2000ft cliff then hikes down to get the food
don't forget that if an airstrike lands on the bear canister it will also fail, also dynamite will get through out, not to mention power tools, also a truck driving directly over it will open it, also....
Does The clear bear canister have a way of hanging them?
Tracey, Great question! It does not. I've heard on peopel that have made a handle of sorts with duct tape so that they can hang them but we've not done that . Just set the barrel under a tree. It's been moved before but never more than a few feet. Some bright tape or paint makes it easier to see!
Some of the racoons get pretty bold when dummies feed them too. They will roll that canister 12 miles.
