I absolutely love the ocean. And it touched me when you said "removing a few parasites among a hundred won't solve the problem but I hope to create a community of people that genuinely care about the ocean". Trust me, if I lived near there I would go parasite removing with you. Unfortunately, I live halfway across the world, and in the middle of the city. So I can't even do this in my own country. :(

imagine being a shrimp chilling in the water, and then, out of nowhere, you hear something open up a hole into you, a giant grabs you and, instead of throwing you into a bag and getting turned into sushi, he takes out a small piece of metal and takes out that weird thing in your belly that has been discomforting you for quite a while and now you feel better than ever

You know, I think about this kind of thing also.. I thought I was the only one. I bet stuff like that may be how organized religion begins. The shrimp will be all mindblown "This great figure came down from the sky and healed me in seconds". Maybe the shrimp will start worshiping Jacob. These few who go the parasites removed will be like the shrimp prophets and write the shrimp bible.. the book of shrimpasus. Maybe alien abductions etc are like the alternative of this for us.. maybe we are the "shrimp" to some highly advanced form that we know nothing of and they pick us up and do stuff like this for their "CZcams". Thinking too deep into this kinda thing would blow your mind.

Somehow, I imagine it being painful for the shrimp during this procedure. As the shrimp might feel the parasite trying to hold on, as well as the metal tools pinching or perhaps moving something the wrong way, thus contributing to discomfort...still, the shrimp might notice a sudden relief once the parasite has been safely detached. I am not a kill joy, just trying to think of what would be probable.
