Very useful vid. I didn't know you have to double tap the locking button in order to start the engine... Thanks 😊👍
Me neither. They did not tell me that at the dealership
Me either... I have been using my app to start it. Good to know.
@@krystinawintling-ayers9747 there is an app ? Didn't know that either... Thanks
@Robin Lsurger the app came with my purchase. I think you have to pay extra if it wasn't included.
Doesn't work for me
Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the tutorial !
You bet
When do you use the hold button?
Where do you put the manual key out of the key fob How do you get into the car with that
Can you make a video how to use the physical key just in case the your remote key is not working or your battery is disconnected like what i have since I disconnected personally to avoid battery discharge since I’m going to travel. Thanks
I have this car and I was able to back it out of the garage remotely, but when I went to put it back the engine turned off and a red light came on the key fob. It did this 3 times, all times I moved in different positions. Then the 4th time it worked. Was I not standing in a correct distance? Wish I had this when I was 9 months pregnant and some a- parked so close to me I could not get in. love this car
Thank I didn’t know how , great tutorial
Love my Tucson
How much do you pay for insurance? I wanna buy a 2022 tucson but worried about the insurance being so high
Thank you for the feedback! We're glad to know you're loving your Tucson!
I would shop around different companies - your rate could be higher/lower depending on your situation. Good luck!
Do all models have this feature?
Does this work if you're on a hill too?
I love my 2023 Hyundai Tucson Limited (red). This beautiful car officially with its Smart Cruise Control🙀(just by holding the steering wheel. This car drives all by itself).😱
So cool! Love it.
Can anyone provide instructions on how to change the old radio “lamps” to a more modern UI in the infotainment system?
Can you do a video on the 2022 Santa Fe (or a similar model) plugin/hybrid startup features? We have cold weather here and can't figure out how to get the heat going in the morning!
It is really sad this guy cared so little to never have responded to you!
@@davenone7312 It basically looks like using BlueLink is the only/best/mostconsistent option to set your climate control on startup. Which says a lot considering how headachy that program is.
Okay that Park Assist was freaking cool
@@Artificial.-_-.intelligence I didn’t even know Toyota had Parking Assist 🤔
Really weird to see the car move without a driver, also mine stops if someone or something is in the path of movement. Door have to be locked to reduce chance of theft.
Yes, it is very exciting that the cars are now safely driving themselves for short distances. This is how they are designed, and yes you should always lock your doors for additional safety.
Thank you
You're welcome! Thanks for watching.
Awesome thanx
You're welcome! Happy it helped.
If the car/s beside you are not straight where steering is necessary to get in or out of the parking space, does the car use the sensors to steer it so it won't hit the other cars or does it only go straight? Will the sensors automatically stop the car so it does not hit anything like if you are pulling into a space where there is a car in front of you?
The sensors will stop car if there is not a safe exit. The car will not steer while moving. I hope this information helps 🙂
Mine steers...
Can you use this from the inside, to scan fro parking spots and self park
Unfortunately this does not have that feature.
My 2022 SEL does not have this button.....
Certain trim packages do not.
Cool!😁👍🏼
Thank you for watching!
If you are using this to pull into a tight parking spot, will the car automatically shot off after a certain amount of time or is there a way to turn off the remote start from outside the vehicle?
The Bluelink app can shut off the engine at any place.
This is a Very interesting video! Yesterday I bought the Hybrid model. Could you teach us how to charge the cellphone without a wire, please?
It is very technological and it has a lot of things that I do not how to use yet... God bless you!!
I have a Santa Fe Limited with wireless charging. The slot is hidden in the "lower" cupholder space with the USB charging port. It'son the left and somewhat resembles a slot for an old Super Nintendo. Insert the phone with the screen facing AWAY from the driver and it should begin charging.
This does assume all compatibility works out, of course, you may have a phone or other compatibility problem. Good luck.
I believe if you don’t know how wireless charging and apple CarPlay works, then just don’t get a high tech car. It’s usually a headache for old people
@@daviddonaire9392 That's just the wrong mind set.
@@denmanfite3156 she literally asked how to charge wirelessly. basically how to put a phone down on a pad that has wireless icon on it
@@daviddonaire9392 Except there's nothing identifying the location where it would go and it's not a literal flat pad on the dash you would assume is the wireless charging location?
When we use the remote start the parking lights do not come on or any lights for that matter . we cant tell if the car started . Are the lights supposed to come on ??
Depends on the settings. You can adjust them.
I have a 2022 Tucson Limited Hybrid and have only been able to get it to remote start maybe twice out of 10 attempts...
Hi be sure that you have locked the car then you are will be able to remote start. Also it might be on but since you have a Hybrid it is very quiet.
Sweet
Thank you!
What happens if the front wheels are not straight when you press the P button?? Does it hit the car next to it?
the front wheels will straighten automatically when you hold the forward park button... they are a very smart car. The guy at the dealership showed me before i took her home :)
Is this feature available on the Santa Cruz?
Remote start is available on the Santa Cruz trims SEL and higher.
Hi mins tucson 2022 Nline but no remote like this ?
You might have a different trim level.
I bought the 2022 Tucson SEL (with the premium package) and love it. It also has remote start on the FOB. As you stated in the video, I pressed the lock button twice and held down the start button on the bottom of my FOB. But my Tucson did not start. And I didn't get the Limited edition. I wouldn't want to park my Tucson in a tight parking space. It's like asking someone to give you door dings.
You’re right but if someone parked really close to you and you cannot open your door it will be very helpful
I’ve been having this issue too, I recently got the SEL. Some days it’ll start from the FOB, and other days it won’t start. It’s weird?
1. Does remote start allow to turn up the heated seats, steering ? Basically, does it remember the last setting I had on (if I had heated seats/steering on, will it be on again when I do remote start)
2. If not, does the blue link app has this feature
I just bought this car 2 weeks ago. The blue link feature allows you to turn on heated seats, steering wheel (almost anything) as a setting so whenever you choose that setting the same features turn on. You are even able to name that setting ex. Winter or Summer. Just know, blue link will take 3-5 seconds to actually start the car, not like an old school Viper remote. I haven't used the start option on the remote yet. Good luck with your car search.
@@lexcoupe74 but does it “remember” your last setting for heated seats for temperature or does blue link by default only turned up heated seats to level 1 (three levels on the physical button)
@@yadwinderberi8199 Blue link runs on your phone. It will only remember your saved settings from your phone. You can create up to 4 settings. You can change those settings 15 minutes before you walk out & start the car in the app. In those settings you can set the car temp, the seat cool/ heat (1,2,3), steering wheel heat (on/off) front defrost, side defrost, how many minutes the car runs. I created a winter and summer setting. I've never started the car from the fob only blue link on my phone. I would guess it would remember the last setting from the fob.
How can I program my tucson 2022 with my garage without remote
you tube video. That's how I did it. Up to three garage doors. czcams.com/video/qbw8zDwhMWI/video.html
How far away from the car can you do remote start like in a restaurant
You will want to have your vehicle within 50-100 feet with a decent line of site.
You can remote start through bluelink...
What engine request this feature? Coz i am buying pure petrol
Maybe hybrid and diesel
Here in our region to get the smart park feature, you must purchase a Limited package Tucson. This is the same as for the Hybrid.
Can you confirm if the LIMITED trim will have a firmware update to upgrade to wireless android auto? It just doesn't make sense to have the cheaper SEL trim to have it wireless and LIMITED being 'limited'
Not sure I will voice your suggestion to our local rep!
just an fyi - the limited trim does not support wireless android auto.
This is a year late, but I just purchased the 2023. There's no wireless because you already have a navigation system.
Does the sel have a compass
Este sistema tambien lo tiene la tucson 2022 en México?
Saludos, de lo que se, el coche debe de tenerlo si tiene el mismo control.
how to get out of valet mode
Hi Anshveer, are you asking for a video on that or just some quick advice?
@@PuenteHillsHyundai i fixed it tysm
Does it parallel park?
Not yet but Hyundai has a lot in store for the future.
@@PuenteHillsHyundai no self parallel parking is very disappointing. My 2017 Kia Sportage has parallel and bay parking assist. Actually a deal breaker. Otherwise looks great
This parking assist is pretty useless! I thought it would parallel park the vehicle. It only moves truck backwards and forward.
It may be a help if someone parks too close to you where you cannot open the door
Absolutley!
