Great review of a neat tech gadget that would be nice to gave. Since I have 8 taps in my brewery, it will not be cheap even with the discount code and the 3 pack savings.

I only have 4 (for now) so adding 1 for co2, it’s definitely cost prohibitive at this time. Now once others start making them and you can get them for half what they are now, then I’ll add them

Thanks for the great review. I ordered one on Tuesday after watching your video. I used your code and they said it is due to be delivered tomorrow (Friday), you cant beat that. When I saw it, I knew I had to have it for making sure I don't run out of CO2.

I think that is also possible to monitor you fermentation. Loss of CO2 is loss of mass

    Hi Gurl!
I've been looking at theese myself, but they are kinda pricey when i got a 7 keg kegenator :)
Either way, do not use 'standard' electrical tape, as it might keep moisture out, but it will also keep it in, and it will NEVER get watertight.
Altho, if you get the vulcanized rubber tape, it _will_ keep stuff out. It is often quite sticky, so adding a layer of normal tape on top will do the trick.
"3M Scotch 23" or "Nitto nr12FB" is what you are after.

Hopefully the quality is better than when they first launched. I had all 3 of mine replaced because of problems. Missing "feet" inside the yellow pads, poor wiring which I could resolder, dead electronics. 2 replacements also had bad wiring which I fixed myself.

I ferment in kegs and would just freaking love to follow fermentation in a closed keg by monitoring the weight. It would be awesome if for example you could set a keg to "fermenting" in the app and follow it's path from SG to FG.
Last I researched half a year ago I think it couldn't do it. Did Plaato add that feature by now?

Great review. I love data too! Have you tried the digital airlock product yet? I didn’t know how I can use them with my ss brewtech 1bbl fermenters. I may have to with their pro product. I’ll have to message them and see. Hope you get to review the airlock product too!

    Will it interface with BeerSmith?

At least you will know when someone brakes in and pours themselves a pint.

Ridiculous that the system does not provide power supplies. Buy a phone, tablet, whatever, and they are provided with a power supply. Just bought 3 for kegs and CO2 because they were recommended, Grrr.
