- The Santa Teresa Tram in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is an extremely unique railway, which winds its way up a hill in an eclectic neighborhood. The tram begins at Carioca Station (Estação Carioca) in the Lapa neighborhood and ends at the top of the hill at Dois Irmãos. The tram used to connect all the way to the Trem do Corcovado, Rack Railway to the Christ the Redeemer Statue (Cristo Redentor).

Wanted to ask if you been to their railroad museum?
James Chicago’s Railroad museum in Union IL. Illinois Railway Museum (IRM)? I’ve been there once and loved it!
James there is also a one room museum at the bottom station of the Santa Theresa Tram. It was interesting, but very hot and stuffy.
@@Luke_Starkenburg I meant the one in Rio. My wife's family lives there and when this covid is over I'm going to it and take this tram
James the one in Rio is nice, lots of large models of trans and historical photos with English and Portuguese translated notes. It’s free.
We also ate twice at the buffet restaurant, delicious food!!!! I think you pay according to the weight of your plate, per milligram.
