- Driving a Caterham 310R car at Knockhill, putting in a reference lap for a customer and achieving a 56:17
I coach 200+ days on track each year with Caterham drivers across every series such as Caterham Motorsport, Graduates and 7 Race Series.
Please call 07749 124205 or email hello@darrenburke.co.uk to discuss how I can help you.
Are you ever at Castle Combe circuit Darren?
Love this. I have the same car and a fair bit slower!
Absolutely love this track .
Take it the dab on the middle pedal on approach to the corner before real braking … is to settle the car ?
Nice driving sir .
Thank you.
So it’s to prime the brakes after having some pad knock off from previous corners. Make sure the pedal is firm and short in terms of travel. 👍🏼
@@thecaterhamcoach2903 well that makes sense … .
Quick machine . But I bet almost anything is fun at Knock hill ..
only sadly driven it virtually (iRacing has a very detailed laser scanned version ) had a few Porsche cup races there (obviously virtually )
Short fast an difficult track .. but always fun. So can only imagine the puckering that occurs at duffers ..? In the flesh .
Thank you for the reply sir.
@@unscrecon1 yeh it’s a mega track in most machinery. A real roller coaster. Ballsy!!
@@thecaterhamcoach2903 hoping to follow the BTCC up there one day… closest track to myself is Snetterton. But knock hill is on the list.
Regards from an envious (sim racer )
Thanks again for the time an replies sir .
Very nice mate. 👍
I thought the R variants had a sequential box? Great driving btw
Hi. I think the road R versions use the sadev sequential box for 420 upwards. The 420R is the only caterham race car that uses the sequential in the official championship.
And thanks btw! 😁
@@yellowledbutter the only one that comes with sequential box as standard is the 620R, I believe it's an option on the 420R.
