Hey Matt. Apparently, there is a bug with the loadout system in Epic Battle Fantasy 5. If you decide to load the equipment (even the same ones) in the middle of a battle and don't press confirm, (I do that to cancel the change to not waste the turn) the flairs somehow become unequipped. Try that if you don't believe me. They may also be a bug with the Data Bunker battles. If you finish the battle and in that battle, you captured the boss (like King Slime, Beholder, and ect) you will not get the post-battle dialogue. Though I'm not sure if it's because I captured the boss. Just letting you know.

Bruh, he has stated before that Epic Battle Fantasy 5 Version 2 was his last project for that series. He also stated that his passion for making games has disappeared. Don't expect any EBF Content at least for a very long while. Let the man rest 😴
Matt probably wants to do smaller projects from now on to avoid or mitigate stress and creative burnout. Considering that he had to program and animate EBF5 by himself over the span of 5-6 years, it's understandable that he doesn't want to do more EBF content until he feels ready to do so.
