I think Lazare is underrated. The song he wrote for Winter Thrice, Panorama, is awesome. A bit of a departure in sound for the band but quite a gem.

@@DiegoRojasN Never try to compare studio and live. In the studio you can make everything sound perfect. You can cheat the hell out of it. Live is much more difficult. In particular for a band like Borknagar. Progressive viking metal.

Despite them having longer setlist at Wacken, bad sound issues etc made this a greater gig. Great sound and performance. I miss Vintersorg, but the new guy does a good job. Wish Garm would return to sing along Vortex though. How is Vintersorg doing btw? I know he was in an accident a few years ago and didn't tour w. the band for years.
He left the band. Vortex will be the lead vocalist again.
@@nasyithrahman9594 Yes, I know Vintersorg left, he had some health issues after an accident, but who''s the new guy? Obviously Vortex don't do all the vocals, especially for the old stuff and the stuff Vortex and Vintersorg shared vocals on on later releases.

I always had that impression. Their concerts are always slightly sloppy, like not everyone is in the exact same page. But great musicians overall.

Vintersorg has quit the band, and Athera will not longer be a live member. ICS is taking over the lead vocals again.
