I had a 2018 fire tablet and read everything on it just fine. Then I upgraded to 2020 fire tablet and for whatever reason it bothered me to read on it. I did get an anti glare protector but I still went ahead and bought a kindle paperwhite. I like how the fire tablet can do more things, and the lower price point. Over all I LOVE my kindle paper white. It is superior, and easier to see, for me anyway. This is a great video. I think it will help a lot of people who are trying to decide which one to buy. I would be interested in a video on the other e-reader you have.

I always use my fire tablet for reading I call it my 'kindle' lol but it works well.

I wish I had seen these screen protectors years ago. I've miised out on a lot of free books because they weren't available for free on the paperwhite.

I have a fire and ive thought about getting a paperwhite just because of the glare and lighting thing. I will try the anti glare protector, the clear case (love that you can personalize it, and the strap!

What great tips! I have never thought of using scrapbooking paper like that. Love that idea! I love my Paperwhite but have started reading more on my Kindle Fire because it's a 10 inch one and I can read so much easier. The glare is a problem though and I didn't know about the antiglare protectors. Again, great tips!

Will definitely give this a whirl. Sure wish Hoopla and Scribd worked on your Paperwhite and my Oasis! My eyes are super sensitive to light. The only way I can read on my Fire is to have the brightness almost off and then set the page layout to reverse (black background and white letters).

I think the Boox Palma would work well for you. The screen is exactly like the paperwhite, but it runs on android, so you can get all the apps. There's a few cons, too, though. I'll get that filmed soon!

@LindseyfromBFCG Absolutely! I have a new fire 7 in my cart right now. My 8 that I showed in this video is from 2015 and is running slow now. It also uses the old kindle charger, and the newer version uses USC like my phone. I dont neeeeed it, but I really want it😄
I love my Paperwhite! After seeing the difference between your two devices, I still think the Paperwhite is best. Of course I prefer physical books.
The paperelwhite is definitely a better screen. I just wish I could get all the other reading apps on it. Then it would be perfect 😁
I’d love a video about Scribd. I was looking into it after watching this and I didn’t find a clear enough answer to how many ebooks/audiobooks are truly unlimited. Also is the limit just one a month of certain titles or is the limit more than one.
