    What can I do if in my country doesn’t exist sizes talking about the eggs. They are just “normal” size or medium size. Should I duplicate the number of eggs? What can I do? Can somebody help me?

    • @helpfulnatural
      @helpfulnatural Před 7 lety +1

      You could probably use a 13" x 9" baking pan but the cake won't rise as high. I'll bet you could even use a cupcake/muffin tin without paper liners. They would be cute little individual servings! :)

    Is there something you could recommend as an non-alcoholic alternative to the bourbon? (Would love to try it but am afraid to serve it to little kids... doesn't seem like all the alcohol would evaporate when making the glaze...)

    • @russbear31
      @russbear31 Před 7 lety +8

      Alissa Siti Haura The bourbon is not necessary. It's only for flavor. You could probably make either a vanilla, lemon, or orange glaze for this cake if you want to avoid the alcohol.

    This cake looks tasty but it seemed like she was really rushed and didn't actually scrape out all the brown bits with the rubber scraper. And when she made the brown butter for the sauce, it appeared under-browned...again like she was in a rush. I'd prefer a more thorough/calmer rendition.

    • @lisaboban
      @lisaboban Před 7 lety

      Dunia zad Denna Actually it's nothing like ghee. Ghee removes those milk solids that have turned brown and which flavor both the cake and the glaze in this recipe. Browned butter isn't new, but it's really popular with chefs right now.
