It's a really good meal. We still prefer the Old Mill or Applewood Farmhouse over Mama's Farmhouse, but the food is still nothing short of excellent. Some of the best fried chicken that we've had in the area is over at Mama's Chicken Kitchen. It's amazing. We hope that you had a nice weekend, Sandra. We appreciate you and thank you for watching.

I am with Gentry in that it's hard to beat a Cracker Barrel biscuit. The only bread I can find that may have the edge is the garlic biscuits at Paula Deene's Kitchen. This really is a good place to eat. I do wish they added pecans to the brown sugar topping on the sweet potato casserole. Some coconut mixed in would be good too. That would take it over the top. When Jennifer was reviewing the summer salad Henry was digging into mashed potatoes. When Brent and Gentry were giving their commentary...yep Henry eating mashed potatoes. I got such a laugh out of that. Go Henry, mashed potatoes are my favorite thing too! Would love to see y'all go to Cracker Barrel on a Wednesday night and get the Broccoli Cheddar Chicken. It's amazing and was my favorite the entire time I worked there. Be safe tonight and have fun during the eclipse :)

Now that's some good looking food! The chicken there is really good. We have not been to Mama's Chicken Kitchen to compare the chicken between the two. As always an outstanding video. We always watching your videos and seeing the boys in them.

Didn’t that place use to be the Apple Orchard Restaurant? They were originally built around an orchard, before they made room by clearing out a lot of the apple trees.
We have never ate there yet. Everything looked really good though

@@caseyj1987 We had to cut the part out when we talked about the strawberry butter (they were cleaning off a table and the silverware was louder than our audio). It was more of a jelly than butter. It reminded me of Smuckers but a little runnier.

Hubby and I have ate there only once. I did not like the food except for the chicken. Food did look great. But ours had no seasoning at all on the food. Too much food brought to our table. There was no room to eat.

This is a sweet family. I would think, they are Christian folks.
Only looks good for more than two people. Don’t defrost enough frozen food for 2 people. Just hope there is enough people so you don’t have to listen to their complaints about their job while they sit behind you wrapping silverware.

Hi @tnhillbilly372 - we remember the last time we filmed here, you had mentioned that you had a bad experience here. Hopefully that was just an isolated experience. We've only visited here twice, but both times were excellent. Hopefully you can give it another try one day, but we completely understand if you don't.
Went there 3 days ago. Horrible! Chicken overcooked. Broccoli casserole no flavor. Mashed potatoes like paste.
