The only way to handle Trump's idiocies is to look at it with dark humour 😬While at the same time never forgetting how much more serious damage he can make, not only to the States but to the whole world. I'm even more worried about DeSantis though. Trump so self centred that he can't stop showing his cards, so people see what he's up to. But DeSantis is smarter than that. And he knows how to navigate the halls of power and he has political connections. So he can hide the insidious things he'll probably be up to.

No matter how bad the politician and no matter how clueless the arguments of their supporters are, the supporters will always believe it's the reasonable and balanced voices that are wrong. And it happens with people like Elon Musk and 'innovators'. The simple fact that Musk has a lousy track record on almost every aspect of his life and businesses doesn't prevent his fans from claiming 'The Establishment' is trying to discredit him.
