    #viralhepatitis #hepatitisa #hepatitise #hepatologist #hepatology #hepatitis_cure
Hello everyone, I am Dr. Deepak Goyal. I am a pediatric gastroenterologist and pediatric hepatologist, and I practice in the Delhi NCR area. Welcome to our CZcams channel. Today, we are going to discuss a topic: Viral Hepatitis A and E.
#viralhepatitis A and E are quite common in India. Before we discuss Viral Hepatitis A and E, we will understand a few things about what Hepatitis is. What is Viral Hepatitis? What are the different types of Viral Hepatitis? Then we will discuss Hepatitis A and E.
So, what is hepatitis? #hepatitis is a term where "hepato" indicates the liver and "itis" means inflammation. Therefore, Hepatitis means inflammation of the #liver . "#Liver inflammation" means that the liver is not happy or #healthy . In a normal liver, there is no inflammation, but in the case of Hepatitis, it means that inflammation is occurring in the liver. How can you determine if there is inflammation happening in the liver? Some methods that fall under the clinical sciences that we will discuss can help you understand if the liver is affected. Otherwise, the liver function tests can also indicate whether Hepatitis is present or not. #liverfunction tests consist of various components, including bilirubin, SGOT, SGPT, gamma GT, and many more. However, SGOT and SGPT are two components that indicate if there is Hepatitis. Normal values for SGOT and SGPT are less than 40. If these values exceed one and a half times, meaning more than 60 SGOT, SGPT, or both, it indicates a tendency towards Hepatitis.
Hepatitis can occur for various reasons. There are many reasons for liver inflammation. Most commonly, viral etiology is responsible. If Hepatitis is caused by a virus, we refer to it as Viral Hepatitis. Numerous viruses can cause Hepatitis, but the most common ones are the Hepatitis A, B, C, and E viruses. These viruses are collectively referred to as Hepatotropic viruses because these four #viruses primarily affect the liver. Apart from these, there are other viruses as well, such as the Epstein-Barr virus, CMV, and many more, which can affect the liver but don't primarily target it. They are part of systemic #diseases that affect the liver, so they are not included in the hepatotropic category.
Now, out of #hepatitisa , B, C, and E, Hepatitis A and E behave almost similarly, and their routes of transmission are similar. Their clinical presentations are also similar. So, today we are focusing on Hepatitis A and E in this video. Our topic that we want to discuss today will be divided into four main parts. First, how you get Hepatitis A and E, or how their transmission occurs, Second, what are the symptoms, potential problems, or consequences? Third, how can you #diagnose and manage it? And fourth, how can you prevent it?.... For more detail watch our Video!

If hepatitis is there for 2 years then it's chronic hepatitis.
First try to find the underlying cause of hepatitis. Secondly check the severity
If there is treatable cause then treat it.
