Here for sale we have a Fender Pawn Shop Offset special, a unique hybrid guitar made by Fender in 2012. The top half of the body is the iconic double horned design of the Stratocaster, whilst the bottom half has the classic offset design of a Jazzmaster. Just to throw more into the mix this guitar has a semi hollow design and a vintage style floating tremolo.
The one piece solid Maple neck has a '60s "C" Shape, a thin feeling Strat style profile which is very easy to get along with. Unlike a Jazzmaster, the offset special has a 25.5” scale length and a modern 9.5” fingerboard radius and 21 Medium Jumbo frets. Whilst the features are rather eclectic, the playability is true to that of a modern Fender.
A pair of Humbucking Jazzmaster Pickups are installed in this guitar, providing a full and warm tone with just enough of that Fender snap to keep the purists happy. When combined with the semi hollow design a resonant and rich tone is produced, with the thin body shape helping to eliminate feedback meaning heavier playing is still an option.
This is a truly unique looking guitar that is a lot of fun to play.

Great choice! It plays so nicely and is such a refreshing model from Fender. Its sounds great and it looks just as good! What do you think of it?
@@suygtv I think that fender should rerelease it under their squier brand as a continuation for their paranormal series since the super sonic has been rereleased under this series. The only issue I find with this guitar is that it has some grounding issues; other than that I feel that the wood has aged wonderfully even though it’s only been 9 years since it was first released. Very slim neck with a smooth feel.
Any chance you guys guys still have this and could possibly take some measurements of the body and maybe the dimensions of the pickups?
