I am a Mexican immigrant but hearing the American anthem and having the Jets fly by is such a beautiful experience. I love this country so much and it’s people I am willing to give my life for it.
Not everyone knows why ND plays Navy every year. ND was in financial trouble during 40s. With the war going on and with a shortage of officers the USN placed an OCS program at ND. The money paid to ND through this program enabled ND to keep its doors open. In gratitude ND will always play USNA. I know, details are vague. That’s what Google/Siri are for. Cool story.
