Ymmmmm....tried it today and it was totally SENSATIONAL! Though,....don't think me a troll, but in both the video demonstration as well as the written instructions you don't mention the clove of garlic, which is listed in the recipe ingredients,.....so, I tried it without the clove of garlic and it was really GREAT,.....so it was a blooper, erronously emitted from the video and the written instructions? Should I add the clove of garlic? Thumbs up and thank you for sharin'!!! :)
Just a silly mistake on our side :) If you like garlic, then add it in, but if you don't want to use it, it won't really make much of a difference in this case. Sometimes it happens to forget an ingredients during filming, so ALWAYS follow the written ingredients list. Thanks for watching and for your support
Noemi A I don't have a recipe for regular potato soup at the moment, but I'm pretty sure that you can use this recipe to make that soup by simply substituting regular potatoes for sweet potatoes. However, the problem with potatoes is that when you blend them they release all their starch, and whatever dish you are making tends to become a gluey mixture, which is the reason why people add milk or cream to it. Obtaining great tasting dishes with blended potatoes is pretty tricky. Thank you for watching and for your comment :)
The Vegan Corner hey, do you have any advice for me on how I can be vegan , but continue my activities as before? I love the mountains , going 6-7 hours 5 days a week . and from April to October I spend often 3 to 4 weeks at a time . how can I get so much energy from vegan food . living in Norway . and here we have not fruit in the mountains. thanks for the reply. denis kajtazovic First of all, hats off for you! Training 6-7 hours a day for 5 days a week is no joke; even walking that much time wouldn't be easy for most people. It seems that you have many questions and I completely understand how frustrating it can be to have the feeling that your diet is not providing enough energy to maintain your activity level. In fact, it is entirely possible that you are actually eating the right food, but simply not having enough of it. I'm not a nutritionist of course, but if you want my help I'd be happy to share with you the few things I've learned in the last few years.

What did you use to blend the soup? And is there a specific type of pan needed in order to successfully sauté without liquid? By the way, this looks delicious. :)
Jacqueline Marcs We used a simple stick blender :) In regard to the pan, a standard teflon non-stick pan will suffice. I wouldn't call it successfully sauté, but it is better than working with an aluminium pan. Thanks for watching!

MusePolymnia I wouldn't do that! It is always best not to blend standard potatoes, as they release their starch making the final soup a bit unpleasant to eat. By the way, I'm sorry to hear that you are sick; if you tell me what ingredients you have a home I could try to give you a recipe for a vegetable soup :) I'll do my best to publish a vegetable soup in the future. seaonearth Sure thing! Tofu makes it a bit creamier but it adds nothing when it comes to flavor, so please go ahead and try it without the tofu; I'm sure you'll enjoy it :)
Hi! Depends upon what "later" means; if it's within a couple of days then the refrigerator is your best bet, but any longer than that and the freezer becomes the preferable option.

denis kajtazovic I have tried in six weeks to be vegan, but decreased from 84 to 74 kg . and I am 190 cm tall. so 74 kg does not look so good :)
