Gary spent 35 years in motor industry, some on crash testing, you need to fit bigger spreader plates under the van, trust me on this with 2 people belted in that seat, in crash that seat will pull though the floor
Iv got some half inch steel ones to go on when we take it out and put the floor down 👍🏻

Would you suggest getting it crash tested once it's installed, and would only certain garages carry this out? As I intend on carry children on these seats I believe I may need show the certificate to the insurance company (haven't checked yet)
@@GeorgeMcKnight the manufacturer of the seat should give you a certificate, they are pull tested not crashed. I have insured mine for 6 years now and never been asked but mine is Motrocravan on the V5 that you wont get now on a low roof van

Japanese revo or fast are the best seat bed. You don’t have to drill in the auto just use the holes of the old seat. Thanks Japan the best.
There was no seats in the back so there was no original holes .

Could I possibly ask you , how are the bearing runners fixed to the framework? Are they screwed on ? Whoever had my van before me has welded them on !!!! Crazy
Hi Gary thanks for the video, well explained amd straighgforward. Once fitted do you get the V5 changed to stay as a panel van but now 5 seater and then inform insurance?
Hi yes still trying with the dvla to get changed over for the whole conversation and yes tell the insurance about any modification. 👍🏻

The rear facing seats, be a bit tight against the rear doors. How would anybody sit there?
They are not for travelling in.

5 seater you sit facing the front. 👍🏻
The under floor plates should be around 125mm X 90 mm in 4mm steel and should have bend edges..
Use M10 bolts 8.8G .Make sure they are not Chinese rubbish
Has the bed got a pull test certificate when used as a seat ??
Did you complain about the poor packaging and damage done?.
No Ray its in and I'm happy.
I don't think that it was all due to transit damage, especially the locking bolts, it looks to me to have moved out of square through the welds and the thinness of the stock.
