Lol, this rings true. I’ve had one guy tell me L3 is pretty easy, and he passed in 98

    Thank you Marc for sharing.
Do you recommend any particular order to read the CFA level 3 curriculum ?

Sure recommend starting with BehFin, PWealth, CME and so on but shift PWealth earlier rather than waiting until the end. Also nibble at Ethjcs a little each week and continue to the exam.

Why/when did CFAI say not to use previous exams? I missed this.

When as a prep provider I spoke with CFA Institute, they were very reluctant to have the old exams used, at least prior to 2017. I have used those old exams for decades and encouraged the L3 candidates to use them. When I looked at the exams prior to 2016 very few I would use because nearly the entire curriculum has been updated and many questions and topics in the old exams would be incorrect based on the new curriculum updates. So while the old exams were pure gold before the 2017-2019 curriculum updates, the old exams prior to 2017 have truly lost the value they used to have and can lead to mistakes on the current exam.
