Seinfeld is a successful comedian who made money by actually earning it. Altucher, however, is a chameleon who changes his shtick every few years. 2 years ago, he was "the bitcoin genius" and sprayed the internet with ads for his scammy get-rich-quick "courses" on cryptocurrency (just google around and you can see what I mean). He's also been a hedge fund guy, HBO show host, early web programmer and god knows what else. Altucher can only benefit from publicity regardless of if it's positive or negative, he's made himself into a piece of human clickbait.
It seems to me that Fox, like some other news outlets, have failed their due diligence in vetting this guest. On the other hand if you people think Trump "University" was not a scam, then you probably have no problem with "the bitcoin genius".

That's a HUGE deal...to anyone but tRump. This happens so much with this president that it's no longer even news. Much less than that has ruined many political careers. But his followers don't really care so he doesn't care. tRump could literally slaughter a baby in public, say it was a liberal's child and the spawn of Satan, and his followers would cheer.
