    I just flew United out of their International Terminal in Houston to Bogota and on return, departed to Dallas in Terminal C... that was a LOVELY Facility... nice video!!!!

    I got goosebumps watching this. I remember my first trip to LHR from YYZ in 2004. It was a working trip and we flew on British Airways in the World Traveler plus section, so I didn't get to see the scenery. When I arrived in London, it was almost like coming home, but just briefly. I hope to visit London again some day and spend more than just 2 days there.

    Great trip report! Beautiful approach and landing with the Concorde and British Airways' retro livery in sight!

      Ishrion Aviation Thank you! I was lucky enough to fly on that British Airways retro livery 747 back in October from New York to London. It didn’t have the refurbished cabin though, it had the old interior and when we boarded it was absolutely boiling hot haha

    9 hours on a 767 isnt really too bad at all - especially in economy. Definitely beats a 3-3-3 seating arrangement.

    Love it! I've never flown UA to Europe nor to Asia so thank you for this fly-along :) It certainly looks more modern than the 767's I've flown on with AA. And loved that meal service! - Red

      Thanks! Yeah I flew on AA’s 767-300ER from Manchester (UK) to Philadelphia in November and the cabin felt much older, the seats were older, no personal IFE screens and very limited legroom. I’ll be making the same trip in a couple of weeks but it’s operated by a 787-8 now so it should be a better experience

    Is it my imagination or were the cabin crew British?

      @ethannguyen3672 Před 3 lety +2

      United does have a LHR cabin crew base so that does explain it.

    Nice video! Doesn't the B767-400ER kinda look like a Boeing 777 (e.g. Window appearance)?

    Why didn't you fly direct to London from Boston ?

    • @AviationAdam
      @AviationAdam  Před 4 lety +1

      midon007 I booked with United and no Star Alliance airlines fly direct from Boston to London. And I like to book itineraries with the most flights/longest flight times possible for the lowest price. It was only £247 for London-Munich-Boston-Houston-London
