- PLL, or Permutation of the Last Layer, is the last step of the CFOP method which finished the cube. In this video I'll show you how to do PLL in two steps (or less) by learning just 6 algorithms.

👶4 LOOK PLL:
For four look PLL you only need 2 algorithms:
1:49 Use this algorithm whenever you need to solve the corners. If you don't have headlights, do the alg from any angle which will create headlights. Once you have headlights, hold them on the left and do the alg to solve the corners.
2:51 Use this algorithm to solve the edges. If you don't have a bar, do the alg from any alg which will create a bar. Hold the bar facing you (in the front) and do the alg one or two more times.

I learnt the beginner method from you but then I thought it was a bit slow so I started watching J perm but I did not understand anything but still when I saw your vid it was much better and I did it with your vids.
I started cubing 1 year ago and i learned cfop 2 months ago( i currently avg aroung 25 seconds) if i would have learned from a tutorial like this id be sub 20 so be greatful for what you are learning from begginers

No one‘s gonna read this comment, but I wanna appreciate the full explanation, I’m not a good learner and it took me over a week or two to learn F2L, OLL was kinda easy but I was scratching my head at PLL, I could not understand other explanations but this one is easy, I’m currently learning PLL and hope to one day learn advanced CFOP and set any kind of cubing world record, thank you cubehead❤❤❤
My best is 31.26 sec in learning the beginner method in 1 week and CFOP in 1 week. I've got under 60 seconds in 2 weeks. Very Clear Video Cubehead.❤

Who else wishes they had a robot that could scramble for you so you could just keep practicing.
I bought the Gan robot v2 and the Gan i3… I eventually ordered a second i3 for double cube feature in CubeStation. Also I use the 12 up free play but it technically doesn’t work with the robot. I got it to work but the bottom claw needs to be changed to reliably work (not sure if they make one)

I think updating your pll and oll vids like the ones "how to learn full pll in one month" would actually be good because im pretty sure you've changed some algs and fingertricks. And also like how to set up a cube like all the settings and stuff (unless you already made one and I'm just dumb)

Great Tutorial!
Personally I'd have taught the M U Ua- and Ub-perms. I think they're much easier to learn as a beginner, and are also fine for more advanced solvers.
I have been debating about this, especially since more people voted for the MU U perms, but the main reason is that the M slice finger trick is really difficult to do as a beginner. Also the R U u-perms are slightly better for advanced cubers as well (think of almost all top 10 cubers preferring RU U-perms).
So I decided to go for the easiest R U u perms, and explained them in a way that is easy to remember

@@CubeHead I learned the MU algs as a beginner, which led to me getting down the M move finger tricks way faster, instead of just avoiding them.
@@CatBattler223 yeah that's cool :) I never learned them and I never do the moves, but also the M move (not M') is something you rarely find, so I never needed the finger trick for anything. I can do it, but honestly it's not a fundamental finger trick . Doing R U moves is more useful, also for beginners. But then again that is my opinion, that's why I decided to do as I did :)
