Still my favorite GB game from childhood, despite never having watched the show as a kid. I just loved playing this game, and it holds up surprisingly well.
I remember purchasing the original GB and this was still in the cartridge slot. Good times, note, do not play this while too high. The vivid technicolor landscape afforded by good smoke makes the game take on a life of its own. To the point I though I had a GB color, years before it had even been made.
Nice job with the TAS. Just to ask, did you reference the world record run or did you make this on your own with more trial and error? I was curious as I always find it interesting if any new routing is found that could be better than the current run.
Remember back when games had to work right out of the box? Remember when developers were required to please the consumer? Remember when publishers worked hard to innovatively squeeze every drop of power and quality out of a given console? The 90s were better.
