Teal color buckets are for kids that have food allergies
Blue buckets or pumpkins are for kids that are on the autism spectrum. Some are non verbal like my two boys. So it's hard and kind of awkward when you go up to a door and they expect the kids to say trick or treat and then you have to explain to every person you meet.
I hear that. I don’t think half the kids that come to my house say it. Probably because I’m already there throwing candy in their bags... I wouldn’t think twice about it.
I always just assume they're shy or scared of strangers...so I just give candy...but then again I've worked with kids for a long time so maybe I'm a little more aware of how kids operate.
I was JUST looking for Halloween on the play store at 455 a.m.! Nice timing!

Its so nice how everything is organized. I wish the goodwill stores by me were like that.
Still, I have to hunt the whole store. You never know where you might find something in an odd place!

I was laughing as you were going down the Aisle in the first Goodwill..about Shannon not liking her Art Cup and we wouldn't either. I gravitated to most of the things you liked, those fall leaves plates, those black plate chargers, those little lanterns and That Pretty Dia de Los Muertos sign. I kind of liked that little pumpkin sitting on the shelf all alone with his little green leaf legs lol Thanks for sharing .

My local one just throws it randomly on the shelf. They don't always do that at Goodwill. I have seen that at other other Thrift stores with clothing and home decor. Someone must have worked at one of those other places.

That was Fun! I'm already Halloween jonesing! I really like the soap dispenser and that giant green apple, if done right it could be a cool art piece in a kitchen/dining area and used at halloween like u suggested.

The witch mug does look that way. It came in a set of four. A vampire, ghost, frankenstein's monster and the witch.

Throw whatever it is in a sealed bag and use colored water. Not the best, but it’s all I got!
U made the right choice in my opinion...I wouldn’t have bought any of those cheesy items either. Our Goodwill stores around me in Pennsylvania are terrible 😣
The black is her open mouth. Their pricing is crazy, more than a $1 for a dollar store item but less than a dollar for that ceramic pumpkin with the top hat that's a candle holder/lantern. I'd buy ALL those plastic pumpkin pails & those little ghost buckets!!

I went to my local thrift store and didn't have no Halloween stuff yet
All the seasonal has dried up at my Goodwills. Found a new Gemmy sax playing Santa in The box for 6 bucks and a big head witch missing her mouth. But for 99 cents we fixed her and except the mouth it works.
Who wouldn’t want a big head witch?!
I thought you would have purchased that gold pumpkin at the first store and spray painted it black since you said it was heavy so may have been worth the price. Our Goodwill is small and mostly has clothes.
I need to start giving away some of my pumpkins!

I had one sitting in my room for the longest time and I finally threw it out recently. It arrived way too close to Halloween for me to do a video. :(

I live in California and miss having rain. It is too bad that people don't donate better quality items to Goodwill. Have you considered doing videos at Salvation Army stores or charity thrift stores?
The “thrift” stores near me are usually overpriced. I tend to have pretty good luck at the Goodwill and there are two very close to my workplace.

Sometimes the selection is disappointing. Sometimes not.
If I find damaged pumpkins I repair them with orange nail polish.
I don’t have any of that, but I suppose I could use some craft paint.
Today I overheard a dollar store manager say Halloween stuff will come in around September 1st.
Ugh. So much waiting!

I found 2 GINORMOUS Vintage Halloween Blow Molds at Goodwill a few weeks ago! I was sooooo excited!!!!

It doesn't bother me when you say you an find a item at the dollar tree/ a dollar because it's true and i don't see it as negative.
I assume baskets are so cheap because that's one of those thing everybody donates in droves. When I worked at a (non-goodwill) thrift store, we had a whole wicker basket "section" because we'd get 2-3 a day.
Who wouldn’t want a dusty old half broken piece of wicker art?!
