The fluffy optic laser head is $129.99 but it's been out of stock for awhile. I'd like one for my V15 Detect.
Update - My V15 Detect was one of the first ones made and a lemon. After weeks of back and worth with Dyson I boxed it up and returned it and they sent me the latest version and it came with the fluffy optic laser head. This thing is SO much brighter than the old one.
How are you feeling. I’m concerned about you and the loss of Brooklyn. I know we don’t really know each other. But any one who loves his dog the way you do is a good person. Awesome content! I’m looking to purchase the V15, but notice that the V15 Absolute doesn’t come with the crevice tool, or the wand clip like the one in your video. It looks like everything else is the same except the hepa filter. Is there anything else the absolute comes with that makes it better? Is it the new laser as well?
It does come with a combo crevice tool at least the one that I got there and that wasn't a bonus tool. The laser is the same it's not upgraded as I said in the video. And it does come with the on

Only thing stopping me from getting the V15 absolute is the lack of a power button. I didn't realize how much I would like it on my V12 slim detect. Outside of that I definite like the V15 absolute > Gen5.

@@TechMadeEzy True, that is a fair point. Few hundred extra for a laser & few accessories may not be worth it in the end. It seems like it would help a lot with my dark hard wood floors so I may just splurge lol.
@JMilionair but the V15 detect has the laser also and it works great, find myself vacuuming at night and I need to stop lol
@@TechMadeEzy with the V15 detect also being an absolute with HEPA too it’s really the brightness of the laser & the button vs trigger…

@TechMadeEzy Curious, was the V15 fluffy head labeled “Laser Slim Fluffy”? A Dyson cs rep advised that all the “Fluffy Optic” cleaning heads should now have the same laser on Detect models.

My understanding is that the 'fluffy optic cleaner head' on the new V15 detect and V15 detect S (submarine model) vs. the Gen5 'fluffy optic cleaner head is the SAME THING. No difference now. No reason to upgrade to Gen5 for that feature.
I just bought a V 15 where the tube connects to the base it’s got some play in it. I’m wondering if that’s normal

i am racking my brain trying to choose a Dyson stick vacuum...narrowed it down to Gen5 outsize 1399 / Gen5 1199 / V15 detect 999 thats in canadian funds........i notice online there are less attachments available to the Gen5 line compared to the V15....the cleaning kit is wanted but only the V15 can get it between the 3 vacuums i am pondering.....we are 58 years old with aging joints...lol..plus we have a dog....wanna use it for house and car...mostly hardwood floors except one room plus there are various area rugs.....the 2 floors are a total of about 2500 sq ft....at the end of the day i would also like an extra battery...honestly which would you recommend ?....we also thought about the V12 but the storage bin seems pretty small plus we would like more power or do we need it ?....thx for your reviews....cheers from Canada

In Summary... The main difference for $950.00 is: 300% more laser vision; 15% more suction and 10 minutes more use time.
I’ve had good luck with my Dyson products. Got the Dyson dc65 animal like 8 years ago and is still works great! Been thinking about a stick vacuum for our hard floors.
Even the v12 would work well or check out the v10 absolute

the gen5 is 280 air watt the v15 is 240 they improved the metal filter inside and the shape of the cyclone's so the hepa filter stay cleaner longer, it is all improved but you don't know it
yes but in the last year in italh and i guess all over the world they selled the v15 with the stronger fluffy optic the new stronger model

None of my dyson videos are sponsored and I have to say they’ve worked very well for me for a long time. If you watch the video, you’ll see, I’m not upgrading to the latest model. I actually took advantage of a crazy sale on the previous model. That works great.

@@TechMadeEzyThey are always good at the beginning!! I have never come across such a fragile vacuum until I got Dyson! They are very cheaply made and the price you pay is for Dyson R&D costs. I got a SEBO as a corded and use Dyson for car and bits and pieces. SEBO is a QUALITY product. They let themselves down not having a cordless. Samsung cordless vacuums are much better build than any Dyson on the market at this present time!
