Yeah but Aras was also competing against Terry every single time, debatably the best challenge player ever. She wasn't as big of a threat as him even though she's good.

Of all the winner rankings I have watched you are the one I agree with the most. There seems to be a kind of groupthink that makes most rankings among superfans to be pretty samey. Thanks for presenting a different viewpoint.
Side note: Sabrina built the alliance that dominated the game and got the girls together iirc, Kim however took over once that happened
That reminds me of Samoa. I think it was Mick who made the Russell/Jaison/Natalie/Mick/Liz alliance, then Mick immediately went right to the bottom person of that alliance, and sat there the rest of the game. Liz and Jaison both went over him, only since he was seen as no threat.

Michelle that low is so insulting. My guy she has never had her torch snuffed, EVER. That’s not luck. Her winning game wasn’t dominant not suggesting that but the same reasons she made it far in WAW are why she won her season. She’s a top 20 player of all time.
1:34:00 From what I know, the reason why Sarah gets a 3-2-1 there is just 'cause they already knew Sarah would be immune (and Troy if necessary), so it made more sense to just split the vote instead of make a tie, so it's not really as much of a knock to me as most "Needed an idol" moments.

People are gonna disagree with your list, but I really don’t have much complaints. Dee should be knocked down a few placements like 19 or so. She wasn’t that dominant a winner, at least not more so than like every winner in the top 19 she’s higher than.
I’d swap Vecepia & Sandra’s PI game. Sandra took control from F5 onwards & even had some plays before that. Vecepia is the opposite. Maybe put Gabler lower, but I could see what you’re saying if you don’t emphasize too much on his read with Jesse at the end so maybe not by much.
I couldn’t really grasp Adam’s game too well, but i’d put him higher than Gabler & Maryanne is debatable, but probably her too. He was messier, and they are kinda similar but Adam was more aggressive even if Maryanne had more control & better position in the end-game - she never really took out many players along the way sans Omar & sorta Lindsey.
I’d also say Sandra HvV > Jenna > Michele from best to worst should be next to each other. I’d put Mike higher than all of them since while he did need immunity, he used immunity to control basically every vote he did have immunity.
I personally would actually have yam yam above dee, while yam yam isnt the best strategically, as he wanted to take carson to the end, he is always controlling the vote no matter what other than the sarah boot, whoch even then he had a 0% chance of going out there and he did get twist screwed essentially, while dees f5 round was very bdlad for her. Plus by the end yam yam was finally willing to let carson go. Id group them together tho, with dee being slightly below yam yam
I will say, I don't really fault Sarah for final 6, because they knew that Sarah, Troy, and Brad were going to be safe, so they split the votes.
Rob is WAY, way, way, way too high. The fact he loses a jury vote to nearly the entire cast would already put him no higher than 10th, but that is just one of numerous flaws in his game. I might have him 17th or so to be generous, only since his control was top 5 which is worth something.
Boston Rob is WAY too high. His extremely low jury win equity already would put him no higher than say 8th at best, even if you thought the rest of his game was perfect (it wasn't). Add to that the terrible cast, being a 4th time player, and being a guaranteed early merge boot if his tribe loses 1 of the final 3 imunities in a row they win or Zapatera does not throw a challenge and yeah. Kim also had a terrible cast but the rest of her game was perfect. I would put Rob about 15th.
Rob and Kim get WAY too much praise.
@@stevendeangelis3963 I agree, but moreso Rob than Kim. Kim also gets too much but atleast she beats everyone in a jury vote and did almost everything perfect in her shitty cast. Rob even loses a jury vote to nearly everyone in his shitty cast, and made a ton of mistakes even with the easiest competition ever.
I was making my winner pic and I thought I’d be the only one who put Rob that low. His team was literally made for him to succeed

Add to that he still had many scenarios he goes early merge, like Ometepe losing 1 of the final 3 challenges in a row they won, or Matt/ Andrea flipping which they nearly did (and which Rob had no idea they were considering, and also had nothing to do with why they didn't). And loses a jury vote to everyone who made the merge plus Phillip and Natalie. All of that, and most of all being a 4th time player against all newbies, and put on a tribe that was literally handpicked for Rob, are reasons to rank him nowhere near the top.
i respect your opinion but Michele being this low makes me think that you should watch her seasons again
When you say her "seasons" that is already flawed reasoning, since this is a ranking just of their winning seasons, not their total careers. Michele raised her merit as a player with a second very strong game and making the end on Winners at War on the strongest cast in history, despite getting 0 votes, in combination with also winning a season. Very few players have two very strong games like her which really elevates her ranking as a player. That should not impact her winning game and where it ranks which should only be about her winning game compared to others.
You already started off wrong when you said "seasons" & this is why I can’t take any criticism against this person’s ranking of Michele seriously. Separate the career from the winner’s season. I’m sure if this was a ranking of their overall skills as a player & or career, Michele would the ranking that you aspire for her to be.
if you get voted out and win your way back in on a season where that is part of the game, it makes no sense to hold that against you
but its hard to rank chris underwood high because of how short his time in the game was
your list was already hard to get through as is so when i saw Natalie at #15 i just stopped watching the rest. these rankings are something

Our lists are pretty similar honestly! Few differences, I had Jenna right after Michele (very similar games I think), and I have Danni in the Sandra and Vecepia area with them!

Why do u desagree with mike voting out joe at f10 of S30? Mike was completely outplayed at that point, the only way to get to the end and win is to comp out. With Joe there, and Joe winning those comps, mike is out. If joe won f10 challenge, mike is also out. getting joe out at that point was mike's only choice considering joe's comp prowess

I love smaller channels because of the tendency for different opinions, but these are different different. I think you were too harsh on players based on hypotheticals that didn't happen, and not harsh enough on jury management. And I agree with knocking players for wanting to take the better player to the end, but the knocks were way way too steep. And the Yul placement was just real bad.
think about it like this, if yul did not have the bottle twist, heck, if aitu just lost that challenge, yul is not the winner of his season. it is one of the luckiest things to ever happen to a winner, even worse than bens fire making mishap

Tbf, Mike needed five immunities to make it to the end whereas Michele got verrrrry lucky with the Joe medevac, whereas Natalie was in the majority the entire game, surviving her starting tribe’s implosion and being instrumental in the Erik blindside.

Without the bottle twist? Prob 2-3 rounds after merge. Depends on how quickly the Raros can flush the idol, and whether they get out Ozzy first
Without idol? He prob still gets towards the end of the game, but would need to get through 4. At worst he goes to fire against Saundra (which he prob wins)
Pulling in Penner? He may have been able to do it without the idol anyway, but the idol gave Penner no choice

Maybe I’m preaching to the choir but I really don’t think Chris U deserves much credit for his game upon re-entry. Part of why he played so aggressive is because the jury literally told him all of what he’d need to do in order to win. Getting rid of Victoria, using Lauren’s idol, and getting rid of Devens. His fire making is less impressive than Heidi because he didn’t need to sus out that the jury would vote for Devens the way she did with Carson. Also early on he completely ruins his positioning and gets himself voted out even after David told him directly what would happen.
Also kudos for having Michelle as low as she is. She deserves it. Comping out and getting bailed out by a medivac, combined with 0 strategic agency the entire season should rightfully land you low on the list. Michelle fans copium in this chat is hilarious.
Honestly it was better than what Fabio and Ben did imo.
Fabio had no strategic component other than just to not piss people off and win immunities for the entire game.
Ben would have been voted out 4 times if not for production.
@@BigShowGunnoe Yeah so neither of them got voted out which is infinitely more impressive than what Chris did. Literally. The man failed at the game so hard he was voted out. Nobody else has ever had that big of a misstep within their game.

And even if you think Chris is worse, what he did after retuning was better than what those people did.
One, Chris Underwood still had to pull it off. Which in itself would be hard for what he had to do.
2. Survivor is more than a strategic game, Michelle is the definition of someone winning off their social game which has shown to be the number 1 way for someone to win. Same reason why people like Fabio won.

5th - Erika (I truly believe she is the worst winner in survivor history, maybe if she had a better edit I would think someone else was worse, but from the edit she did absolutely nothing and only won because the jury felt bad that a woman hadn't won in a long time, Xander is by far the best player on the cast and obviously should have won, he made real connections with people in a game of relationships, he was like a brother to Evvie and Ricard, his strategies weren't always the best but he was innovative, he thought outside the box, Erika was just nice to people, and Deshawn acted childish, I cannot name a single thing she did the entire game other than smash the hour glass WHICH NEVER SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED)
4th - Maryanne (I would have voted for Mike, but I understand why Maryanne won. Maryanne is a good character, a decent player, and not a bad winner. I have no idea why she gets so much credit for Omar's elimination. From what I recall she hesitated to vote out Omar and had to be convinced by Mike, it was mike's move, Maryanne played her extra vote, but even if she didn't Omar would have still gone home 2-1 on the revote)
3rd - Dee (She is an incredibly average winner, which is why she is in the middle of my new era winner rankings, I personally would have voted for Austin, but I also completely understand why he lost, I think Austin is by far the best player on the cast, but he made one mistake and it cost him the game, if he didn't give the idol to Julie he would have had a very easy time winning the game no matter who he was with at final 3, obviously that wasn't his only big mistake, he also told Dee about the Julie vote, but that wouldn't have been a mistake if he didn't give Julie the idol, Dee really didn't do much on her own in the game, she was good socially and physically, I guess she can be credited with Drew's blindside, but everyone saw him as the biggest threat anyway, he is a brilliant chap, but hes arrogant and not so good socially. At final 5 Dee would have been voted out due to her own refusal to vote correctly if not for Katurah making a mistake (RUINING JAKE'S MOVES AS ALWAYS), I don't know if Dee's strategy of voting incorrectly is good or bad but its funny, she did it like 4 times)
2nd - Yam Yam (He's a better character than player, but hes a good winner, he had a great social game and his alliance controlled the entire game, I don't have as much to say about him because 44 is very forgettable for me, I would say he's an above average winner, but not that far above Dee)
1st - Alligabler (Anyone who knows me knows I am Gabler's #1 fan, I truly believe he is the best new era player, he was able to adapt every step of the way and plant the seeds to take out threats, he made his ideas other peoples ideas and never got any votes cast against him, he played similar to Sandra, Rupert, and Parvati, he was trusted and liked by everyone, he is perpetually underestimated, his strategy was to take out threats when theyre vulnerable and be underestimated, his game is very repeatable, he is my winner pick if he plays again)
