    WHAT'S UP PEEPS! Since we have been talking a lot about cinema rigs so I wanted to show you all how you can build a cinema rig out of ANY CAMERA. In this video, I use the Canon R6, but this is similar to my Z Cam E2-S6 build and my former Sony A7III build. Hope this helps and gives you a little guidance! Thank you all so much for watching!! REMEMBER TO LIKE, COMMENT, AND SUBSCRIBE! I appreciate you! Take care. - MD

    Great setup, and great video overall! I would really love to see how fast could you go between the rig, handheld, AND on a gimbal, since many of us shoot mostly on a 'run-and-gun' situation, requiring setup changes on the fly. Also, would it be possible to set up a video transmitter on that rig? One other thing as well... your link for the battery doesn't work (not found on amazon). Maybe suggest an equivalent?

      Haha amazing!! Thank you for watching and supporting the channel! Now for the dummy battery. One side of the battery is shaped like the Canon battery. The other side is typically D-Tap, which is specifically powered by most V-Mount batteries. V-Mount batteries have a D-Tap port that provides power to the dummy battery in the camera. Hope that makes sense!

    • @mariodevon_
      @mariodevon_  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Hi!! If you are using a modern V Mount battery, most of them come with USB A or USB C. So just use USB cable if your camera takes USB power delivery. If you’re using a dummy battery, then 8.4V should be fine. But I HIGHLY recommend USB power. I’ll make an updated video soon as this video is outdated for what new V Mount Batteries are capable of. Thank you for the question!

    My V-mount mount has an 8V port, not a 7.2V port. In my case, should I use the 5V or the 8V port?

      @mariodevon_  Před 2 lety +1

      Try out the 5V first. See if it will power the camera. If 5V isn’t enough, I would research if 8V is too much for a camera. Over 10V for sure is too much for a camera. Hope this helps!!

    7.2v for the camera, is it 7.2v or 12v for the Ninja V?

      @mariodevon_  Před měsícem

      Yes! I would recommend a new V Mount that also features USB C

    These are the 12 inch rods correct? The link in the bio says its the 16" black rods but in the video you have the carbon fiber rods which are only made up to 12"

      Apologies for that! I'll update the description but here you go! SmallRig 15mm Carbon Fiber Rods (12 inches): amzn.to/3WVZFQY

      @@mariodevon_ Ok I just wanted to make sure cause I ordered the 16 inch after seeing this and then saw some other videos and they were all 8-12" rods, thank you!

    I'm a amateur film maker and I need a cinema rig but I'm on a really tight budget.... what should I do???

      @mariodevon_  Před 2 lety +2

      My best advice is to focus on shooting. You just started. You don't need a cinema rig. What you need is time to grow your craft. Be patient and use what you got now. Don't worry about future gear. Just do what you can with what you have. Good luck!!!

    What was your final cost to build this Camera rig?

      @mariodevon_  Před 2 lety

      Hi Randy, I honestly couldn't tell you lol. These are pieces I've collected over time. But my initial cost for my first build WITHOUT the V Mount was about $400. Most builds can range from $300+ depending on what you need.

    Great video but power is not measured in Volts :)
