I have a confession; Watching your Aldi videos over the years has made me the aldi-holic among family and coworkers. You always seem so excited to show your hauls, and *I* get excited to see your hauls, and I get excited that I get to also go shop and look through the weekly specials. It's so fun! It just is. It's one of the few things that brings me joy. The sanctuary of Aldi.
And your Aldi videos give me the same feeling. I love it, I love all of it. 😭

Haha, I'm laughing at your comment as I can really relate. I got into aldi shopping a few years ago due to my small budget and found myself really enjoying seeing what deals turned up in the middle section. Not to make your addiction worse but have you been to Lidl? They have middle aisles too with deals every Thursday. I got most of my gardening things there v cheaply and it's been great. They provide a weekly magazine letting you know what deals are on the following week.
You are incredibly compassionate and humane Mary! You are always doing things for other people in your community and in your family. You are such a good example of service and kindness! I LOVE your channel and you! ❤

I'm convinced that asmr recreates that feeling you have as a child when you're being looked after with love and care, enjoying seeing the adults do important grown up things you couldn't do like choose and buy nice supermarket food, prepare delicious meals, tuck you into bed at night and read you a story etc. These aldi videos remind me of when I was ill as a child and I got to stay home with my mum. She'd make me soft boiled eggs with 'soldiers' (the crusts of toast) and I'd watch Rainbow and You and Me on the TV (1980s UK TV). I felt cosy, safe, relaxed and happy.

when I have to go to stores that aren't Aldi, I get frustrated because they don't have "my brands" (the Aldi brands) LOL. love these grocery hauls videos!

I know that she describes all those products almost the same every time yet I cannot stop watching. It is like magic which I cannot explain.
I don't care for the seaweed snacks but my husband does. What I love doing with them is crush them up over a rice bowl. Fried rice, veggies, any protein you want to use. Some bang bang sauce or soy sauce. Then crush them over it. 👍🏼
Aldi need to hire Mary to do an ASMR Ad for them like Michelob did with their beer Asmr ad for last year's super bowl.
Just love the goodie hauls from Aldi. The crinkly stuff at first are my favorite. I usually fall asleep before the end so it is appreciated. Your voice is really nice on this video. Thanks Mary, You are amazing.

I’ve always loved the fact that stores in the Southern U.S. bag your items for you (at least they do at the Publix at Festival Centre in Hilton Head Island, SC (oddly it is spelt centre like in Canadian English, and not Center)) here in New Brunswick Canada, Sobeys and the Atlantic Superstore don’t bag anything for you 😂😭 great video btw Mary. The bag crinkling was everything 🤌

@Purple Planet Yes, we do have Aldi and Lidl over here but they seem to tailor the products to what each country would prefer. For example in Lidl we have a few USA weeks throughout the year of products that they class as typically American, which makes me wonder... do you have a British week? When Mary was talking about Aldi selling German goods a couple of times a year, the majority of the German goods seem to be on offer at Christmas over here. I always found it interesting as one year at our supermarket called ASDA we saw Walmart labelled shoes, that's when we found out that Walmart actually owns ASDA.

I am from austria, aldi is here a common place to go shopping. FYI in Austria we only have the south aldi. Its is here also called "Hofer". Becouse the Aldi founders are brothers and one ownes "Aldi" and the other one "Hofer". Btw great video!
One owns Aldi North and one owns Aldi South.
These two branches are named differently in other countries.
For example I believe Aldi north/nord is called Trader Joes in the US to better suit the market.

Aldi is a German grocery store company and here in Germany it is actually one of the cheapest grocery stores you can go to so I’m happy to see that it’s also cheap over in the US 😁

Yes, the other soup was a pea soup. Usually pea soup is split pea. This soup had whole peas. It was ok. My cockatoo liked it. Lol

I don’t care for actual pickles but even I love those dill pickle ranch chips. 😋 They’re so good. I love the little alpine herb potato sticks too. They’re similar to a sour cream & onion type flavor and have the best crunch.
