Gogmazios Combined Theme (Phase 1 + Phase 2 with Edit)

- Exactly what the title says. I edited in a muffled gogmazios roar halfway through to add to the transition of phases. First time editing audio in audacity, and first time "making" a video (I just used windows photo to make a "slideshow").
Photo was taken from deviant art (I just googled gogmazios wallpaper and picked a nice one):www.deviantart...
If you've got any constructive criticism on how to make my audio editing more competent, I'll take it, but I ain't trying to make any videos or remixes. If a couple people like this, I'll do the same for Nakarkos's theme, maybe more elder dragons if they come to mind.
Ah you see, this music is actually what happens when a cockroach acknowledges that you don't fear it, then it begins to fly...
A rather large cockroach in this case
And it has a gigantic spear stuck in it's back
And it's dripping with highly explosive tar
And it can shoot highly explosive beams
All in all I'd say it's quite a bit more frightening than your average cockroach

@@rbazaldua8737 it already had lasers.
I'm not sure that it would still be as impactful.
The devs kinda overdid it with the new tools they gave the players.
Stuff like the clutchclaw and wirebugs would 100% trivialize it.
On another note, I doubt that many fans of the newer games would enjoy the super challenging HP bloat fest a modern day Gogmazios would have to be. I've seen a lot of hunters struggle with base lvl Fatalis and Gog would be a few numbers above that.
That said, it would be really cool.

*The lore of mainline series Gogmazios*
"For a long time, Dundorma was constantly attacked by all sorts of Elder Dragons. To defend the town against these threats, they made all sorts of powerful weapons to defend the town, which eventually led to them making the *Original Dragonator* to defend the town. The *Original Dragonator* alone defeated many foes and defended Dundorma time after time. From this success, it became the symbol of the town. Over time, the Dragonator got old and wasn't as useful as it once was so the town replaced it with a newer, more powerful Dragonator. The old Dragonator was put into a weapons warehouse by His Immenseness and was left there as a memory for Dundorma. One night in that warehouse, the old Dragonator, along with large amounts of explosives and gunpowder, disappeared mysteriously. The cause of it was unknown, but a black goo was left behind. Many years later, the same thing happened to many of the explosives and gunpowder in the warehouse, but more often than before. Like before, a black goo was left behind and it was discovered to be highly flammable. It was later discovered to be pure oil and a trace of this oil was found close to the outflow source for Dundorma. The Guild Knights followed the trail and saw a giant Elder Dragon leaving Dundorma. They found some gunpowder on its body and saw the *Original Dragonator* on its back. From this alone, they identified it as the *Warehouse Thief* and say it likes to feed on explosives, along with gunpowder. From the discovery of this monster, the Guild labeled it as a monster that needs to be repelled from its huge size and being capable of destroying towns. The Guild also gave it the name, *Gogmazios.* "
"Gogmazios has a sulfur diet. From this diet, it is known to invade towns for gunpowder."
"Gogmazios doesn't have any legends, lore, or stories about it. No one hasn't even witnessed this monster until recently."
"Gogmazios has an extra pair of limbs used to help it support itself as it walks bipedally and are used as a weapon to fight of threats. These extra limbs also double as wings and there is also a lot of muscles found inside those limbs alone, which explains how its able to walk upright."
"It's suggested that Gogmazios may live in one of the Swamps in the Old World."
"Besides using its extra limbs as a weapon, it'll actually use its whole body as a weapon to fight off a threat. It mainly uses its limbs, tail, and size to fight."
"Gogmazios is considered to be one of the most agile of the giant Elder Dragons known."
"Gogmazios produces the oil inside of its body. The oil circulates throughout Gogmazios's body and some of it pours out of its back, dripping out of its back. This oil is sticky so some objects stick to the oil and remains on its body. Some items that have been found in the oil is arrows, bowgun shots, weapons, rare artifacts, and in one case an old Dragonator.
Even some living organisms have been found in the oil.
The oil is also highly explosive."
"From the oil spilling from its back, it has hardened on Gogmazios's scales and shell covering some of its body, increasing the defense of its body."
"Inside of its body and in its extra limbs are organs that produce extreme heated-fire. It has a special organ that allows it to feed on the sulfur through decomposition of sulfur. As the sulfur decomposes, heat is decomposed. Another special organ is able to get rid of excess heat and capable of heat exhaustion."
"Smoke seen coming from its back is the excessed heat coming from its skin."
"When greatly angered, its body temperature greatly increases causing the oil to heat up and ignite faster along with bombing the area with igniting oil plus fire to destroy many things."
"The many spikes on them and the tail is about as long as a Dragonator."
"Its rarest item is said to be harboring a fire god. If cracked, the fire god will escape and burn down the whole land before eventually scorching the world."
"The oil coming out of a Gogmazios is impurities, such as waste or sweat, from its skin due to its diet."
"The wings of Gogmazios aren't tattered. The oil on its body has actually stuck the wings to its arms due to it hardening. When greatly angered, the heat will cause the oil to evaporate from its wings and Gogmazios forces itself to fly in the air. Gogmazios don't fly easily and rarely fly."
"Without the oil on its body, Gogmazios resemble the Revolving Dragons though are a blue in color."
"Gogmazios have a very long lifespan. Due to this, Gogmazios didn't evolve very much and still greatly resemble their ancestors."
"Gogmazios hibernate underground for a very long period of time, spanning to a few years or even several decades, when it has obtained enough food, but waking up to feed again when food is needed. This plus it destroying some villages while searching for food is the reason why it hasn't been seen very much by people."
"Gogmazios's weapons have sleep due to a lack of weapons with the aliment.
Though it has some point due to the whole sleeping for years thing."
"Gogmazios's name came from Gog and Magog. Its name also comes from a combination of the words, Geo and erojion (Erosion in French)."

How the heck does this thing SNEAK in and out of a warehouse?
Fun fact most of gogmazios weapons are based on excecution- and torturedevices
One of the best cinematic elder dragon fights in the series to this day. When you fight him for the first time and all of the sudden you watch this giant black juggernaut take flight and douse the arena in explosive tar... that's just something else.
you thought having a Latin choir makes your theme threatening?
Now we have literal sirens in a theme, and that makes it far more scary lmao
This makes Gogmazios seem more like a TOHO kaiju than a mon from a video game.
It's the largest monster able to fly. So yeah. About the size of mothra or rodan
Not wingspan but overall size
Gogma is honestly more like a natural disaster than a monster.
@@Chokobohmy boy only sleeps and wants to eat sulfur 😢 its not his problem that sulfur and gunpowder are very concentrated in civilization
@@Chokobohall elders are reprisentations of disasters, Teostra is a wildfire, Kushala a tornado, Cedeus an earthquacke, Amatsu a Monsoon, Shagaru an epidemic, etc, etc.

Not gonna lie, I am quite surprised to see recent comments about an old mh game. At the same time... I am not, this game was amazing and brough so much, old and new content... I really should play it again someday when I have some time.
Mh4u is to this day one of my favorite monster hunter games, think the story had something to do with that, so many memorable characters made me fall in love with it, and ofc the large, unique monster selection as well
When MH world and rise players acknowledged the previous games 🤣🤣🤣
@@DarkOminigiri I always did... but I feel like this game doesn't deserve to die yet with how good it is.
This is gorgeous. I hope to god that he can make his way into Sunbreak as the Alatreon/Fatalis slot from Iceborn.
You hope to GOG
As cool as that would be, it's way too unlikely :/
I'm assuming Amatsu will be the final "Main boss" or whatev, because even tho Gog, Dalamadur, Dah'ren, etc are cool, they're kinda just too unique to the game's they're in.
But who am I to suspect anything!? Nobody anticipated we'd ever get Frontier monsters, and yet, Espinas is roaming around Sunbreak!
Maybe we'll get a frontier boss like Shantien or something completely random like Rukodioru lol one can only dream!
@@generic........ aside from the arena (which can be easily be brought back or replaced for Sunbreak), Gog isn't unique to 4U. Heck, I would say that what made Gog so special is that he is a big ass monster that behaves like a regular one, in the sense that he is agressive and aims his attacks towards the hunters, unlike Dalamadur (most of the time) and the Morans, which behave more like your typical siegue. Also, Gog reused the Magalas' skeleton and his height took advantage of MH4's added verticality. Rise not only has that skeleton already, but is by far, the most vertical MH game to date due to the wire bug and wall running, which is perfect for Gog!
Now that we have reached that point, there is only sadness
Seeing Gaismagorm's body structure I start praying and hoping to see this guy in Sunbreak.
Considering Sunbreak takes a decent amount of inspiration from 4U I think theres a good chance Gogma is gonna show up as the final final boss in the last title update similar to Fatalis in Iceborne, I can't say anything for sure... but I just have a feeling
ye ik just seeing gores skeleton and now gais im calling it

I feel like he has a strong chance of getting into Sunbreak, thinking that he has the same skeleton as the last boss of Sunbreak... and I'd fucking love that. One of my favorite monsters from 4U and he has such sick looking weapons.
Last boss in sunbreak uses alot of moves from Bogabadorumu from frontier
@@mojajaja I mean, for one, the skeleton was already in base rise with Valtrax. And the 4 arm skeleton truly originated from Gore and Shagaru Magala, which ofc they did use as the basis for Gog. So if they really want to have another big final final boss, it's a really fitting choice.

Favorite monster of MH4U. And you should definitely read its lore if you still haven't.
With so many awesome monsters in Monster Hunter, it always feels a bit bitter when certain fan favorites dont make the cut. Which is kind of why I'm not super against there being some kind of ultimate MH game that's supported over several years and adds as many monsters as possible. I'm talkin 200+ monsters with multiple expansions.
i mean Generations ultimate was kinda the start of that, just a giant Anniversary monsterhunter.
Im pretty sure that was the goal to some extend, as we know Stuff like Lagiacrus was cut from MH world because back then they couldn't quite add the leviathan / Snake moveset to the engine world ran in
For all we know that may be a thing that may happen one day, because with Rise they got Leviathans working again.all they need to re add is re add underwater fights, but less clunky this time, and you could add like everything. ...... because if you look at it, Monsterhunter in essence just tried to add verticality, First underwater. Nah. Then aerial attacks, then refined moveset. then world.. now rise...
They pretty much tried to recreate the MH3 and MH4u trailers in gameplay first.
If theres a Monsterhunter world 2 i can see that game be that type of game.
There's a japan only live service mmo that almost has all the monsters
