I grew up a metal head and am not really a fan of Kpop but I love Blackpink. Our daughter turned us on to them while begging us to take her to see them perform in Chicago. We reluctantly took her as a Christmas/Birthday gift and ended up having a blast! I’ve been a Blink ever since. They never disappoint and they have live performance videos and dance practice videos. They are, imo, the cream of the crop. I think you would also really like How You Like That and both of Lisa’s solos - Lalisa, which just won a VMA, and Money. I also really like an older song called Whistle. Lisa also has a separate solo CZcams channel that highlights her dancing skills. She is so mesmerizing. The clips are way to short but she knows how to pack a punch. It’s called Lilifilm. I recommend you turn on the closed captions when watching so you can also appreciate the bars. These girls have em which probably doesn’t surprise you. Anyway, so glad to see someone else who was skeptical become a Blink! These girls are addictive! Looking forward to watching you react to them again in the future.

Their producer, Teddy Park, is a hip hop head. Dude is in his 40s so that’s where all the old school hip hop and RnB vibes comes from. These girls and Teddy just don’t miss. The level of professionalism is off the charts.

Definitely don’t let yourself be pressured! I love BP to the moon and back but there are some really toxic people in the fandom who will come at reactors for having any critiques. It’s nice to hear people’s thoughts as long as it isn’t needlessly rude.

I agree just want to point out that music show live performances (eg Inkigayo) are wayyy different than concert live stages (eg Coachella, Tokyo Dome). Always watch the concert performances. The music shows are w a louder backing track and meant to sound just like the record. Also less energy from fans. The concert performances are way more impressive
A quick tip on that, if they are holding hand held mics, it’s prob a better option than if they are wearing headset mics

The thing with this group is that every song is so good and different .u wanna slow but beautiful songs they got that u wanna dance so hard untill u make a puddle they got that too .u wanna just vibe with a cool track they also got that .so versatile 🔥 . i dont listen to k pop at all but these girls are the only artists for me that i have liked every one of their song .

Theyre about to embark on a world tour my dudes, if they happen to stop by a city near you, i implore you... grab tickets and see them live. They play with a live band and they put on a hell of a show. I saw them in 2019 before the pandemic hit and ive been to all kinds of concerts, from underground punk and metal shows, to stadiums, they are in my top 5 concert going experiences. The energy at their concert was just... amazing. Cant wait to do it again next year.

I honestly relate to Eric, K-Pop was a music genre I avoided for some reason but BLACKPINK opened up a whole other world to me and I’m so glad I got to experience this song as it came out, over time you learn to appreciate their work with how much effort and soul they put in it whether it’s the dancing, singing, music videos, not to mention that they are the sweetest and most humble group I’ve followed, they keep amazing me to this day and I’m really glad you’re enjoying their music as well, your reaction are super fun to watch!
