Thanks for this upload-I saw the Monkees on this tour in Westbury, NY. That was the 9th time I saw them perform as a trio in concert between 1988-2011. I always believed that Davy, Micky and Peter had that chemistry which was so magical that it proved their love for entertaining and ensuring that their audiences had a great experience. I remember that Davy was literally running around the stage rotunda almost like someone who was training for the Olympics-and I’m not saying that to sound facetious. I overheard people saying, “How does he do this? Where is he getting all this energy from?” Davy exuded such joie de vivre...To me, the date February 29, 2012 remains among the saddest days of history. Rest in peace Davy and Peter.
I love The Monkees and this song so much, and how they introduced into it parts of the song "Day Tripper" too (by The Beatles) in this concert, with the sax and guitar omg♥ I just love it
I loved Davy ! I still Love him I keep his memory alive Thank ful i have You Tube to see his videos I saw him with Micky in August of 1994 at The Milwaukee County Zoo at a free concert went with Mom and I met him and Micky and was so happy and then in 1986 I saw him with Peter and Micky at The State Fair in West Allis ! Ill LOve him Forever !
Loved these guys as long as I can remember! My first crush of course was Davy but he was my daughters too! I just found out and she was born in 1981! She didn't know he had passed away and was sad when I told her.
Same here, loved all of them. Yet when Davy died, it was like that something that drove the Monkees died as well-he had that driving energy and loved entertaining. Incidentally I’ve seen Davy perform solo and met him a few times. He presented himself as a warm genuine person who sincerely appreciated his fans and their support for him. I think that, because he presented himself as this kind person with seemingly much energy and enthusiasm-understandably, no one’s perfect-for me, to hear of his death was definitely unexpected and heartbreaking.
Nope this isn't true. They ended the entire tour and they received the best reviews from critics out of all the performances they ever gave. Davy passed away 2-3 months later.

In all the live performances I’ve seen here, it looks like everyone onstage is having a great time-and the audience, too.
