'The Kardashians' star pays tribute to her only sibling on Instagram with a collection of family photos. In the caption, Kris writes in part, 'My heart aches for my mom MJ and my niece Natalie and I pray that God guides us all through this difficult time.'

Lost my sister to cancer. We werent close for 20 years.I wanted to take care of her but she said no. She wanted a lot of money. I didnt have. We were very close growing up

65 isn't old, but it's not really young either. Most people who reach 75 have chronic medical problems. At least she didn't spend years being debilitated or in nursing care.

Yes, the Houghton sisters were close in age, with Kris being born in 1955, making her 68. Karen passed her 65th birthday in November, being born in 1958.
