Me too! I remember seeing an interview with Jamie Lee Curtis from when they did Freaky Friday together and she said she thought the same thing when Lindsay was first cast in the movie with her. I think she actually asked her which twin she played lol
Me, too! It is amazing how an actress can play two roles so convincingly and how movie makers can create twins from one person.

Nah, didn’t you see how they did it on the Disney channel? Even before CZcams there were all kinds of “ behind the scenes “ videos on this movie. I even knew that Hailey Mills wasn’t a twin. They had different technology in the 60s though.

The Remakes of The Parent Trap and Freak Friday did so remarkably well that people don’t realize that those aren’t the original (heck even I myself considered those to be an original) just goes to show the rare instance of how a remake can actually be good.

I had not seen the original in many years. I watched it last year and... quite frankly this remake is better. It does not happen often, but they really did a good job on this one. 😎
I’ve watched both the original Parent Trap with Hayley Mills and the original Freaky Friday with Jodie Foster. I’m sorry, but I like the remakes way more! They both seem more timeless, if that makes any sense. The original Parent Trap was made in 1961 and the original Freaky Friday came out in 1976. They’re both dated. The first Parent Trap is too, I’m sorry to say, corny. The original Freaky Friday isn’t as likable to me. 🤷🏻♀️ Guess I just really enjoyed the eye candy in the remakes (Dennis Quaid and Mark Harmon). Besides, I’ll watch any movie where Jaime Lee Curtis shreds on a guitar! 🎸 ❤

Honestly - People should be inspired by Lindsay's recovery. As someone who has been sober for nearly 8 years it's incredible when a celebrity does it since they are more well known obviously giving the message too other people it's possible when you CHOOSE to be sober.

My favourite childhood film, I can still recall the script word for word. As a 37 year old now, I will still go back and watch it if I need cheering up. As a kid, I also used to wish my parents would reunite in the same way.

But what's even more odd and no joke, but prior to me seeing this today, I literally just watched Herbie: Fully Loaded last night that also has Lindsay Lohan in it. Once I saw it on TV have 0 clue that it was going to air, I recorded it *immediately* because the nostalgia of that movie for me: "I need to watch this again!"

She was that articulate and comfortable in front of the camera as a child, amazing! I love seeing videos of stars when they were young. Just to get an Idea of where they came from and how much they've grown. It's impressive exiting to see how much a person can grow and change. She does have that beautiful red hair to help her out!
I had no idea that the beautiful lady who played her mom in "the parent trap" died .. but I am glad to see Lindsay back & doing so well, she had so much screentime on my TV.

Lindsay looks amazing and is doing so well. Her journey to this point was incredible. She can only go up from here and all of her fans wish her nothing but health and happiness.
She’s making Netflix movies and producing them, so she has something she’s almost never had in Hollywood-a modicum of control in her projects. She’s become a wife and a mother. You can just feel the happiness radiate off her.
This is my favourite movie of all time since I saw it at about 8 I think? I love how classy the fashion was in this movie and just the overall feel of the movie to the music! I had several songs from this movie in my wedding, my first dance was to L.O.V.E Nat King Cole version like the movie ❤️❤️

I LOVED this movie growing up
My all time favorite movie. I was 9 when I saw this in theaters, and I’ve seen it hundreds of times since. I still grieve the loss of Natasha, but this movie keeps her spirit alive. Such an amazing and different role for her to do. I’m glad she was part of the cast. I would only want a sequel if they didn’t completely forget her (sorry, I don’t want Nick to marry Meredith after all 😅). And of course Nancy Meyers would have to be the director again. She’s completely why I like this movie more than the original. I binge all of her movies. Nancy can do no wrong! ❤ I love that Lindsay is making good movies again. I’m also glad to see that she still enjoys Oreos with peanut butter. I definitely was inspired to try it after watching the movie. It’s a good combination!

Oh yeah, I forgot about the skirt part! For some reason, when I was a kid what stood out to me is that she ate crackers from a box. haha My sisters and I would imitate the clacking the branches together to scare the bears and also standing on top of each others' shoulders in the pool. Say what you will about Lindsay later in life; in this movie, she was absolutely brilliant. I hadn't heard of her prior to seeing it, so I honestly wasn't sure if she was English or American; she did both accents so well. 🙂

@@kallen868there would probably have to be a significant time jump as when Haley did she was 14 I believe so it didn’t seem that weird when the sequel jumped to the twins being adults, but wouldn’t know how to explain it with Lindsey one or if there is a way of doing a movie without the time jump like in the original sequel.
