Battle of the 36v Mitre saws (Evolution vs Makita) which is really the best!

I take a look at Evolutions new 36 volt mitre saw and see if it really can cut the mustard. Or more to the point if it can at least keep up with its main rival the Makita 36 volt mitre saw.
I look at all the functions and the pros and cons of both machines.

And if, like myself, you already have a whole eco system of Makita 18v LXT tools and batteries, it just makes more sense to stay in that system... and not add more batteries and chargers that cause more clutter! I just took delivery of this saw and am delighted with it's performance and accuracy! 🤙

Exactly my point.the nakita is the way to go, and yes, that saw is a real good bit of kit. The only thing is alittle heavy .thanks for watching

Hiya Tom. Evolution are making headway but I will stick with My Makita ..... I am tempted by the new circular saw (nearly bought the Rage 5) but will bide my time. Still happy with corded tools though.... Bob (Weston super Mare)

Makita is zero rear clearance, that alone makes it a much better saw

I know crazy right it's ok but good god that's alot of money for that saw.
