*I take it that Rhodes Must fall will also like to see the Rhodes scholarship stopped. If a person is full of hate for someone how can they support students getting money for their education that has the blood of slaves on it*

The scholarship initiative must continue- it was started with a stolen wealth. Pay back the money!!

Staring the stark truth of a degenerate and oppressive European cultural in the face. Must be a dramatic shock to the system - I can understand the reluctance to acknowledge the truth.

I hope those in Oxford defend their heritage, just like I will in my town. We can't allow these immigrants to rewrite our history.

Get a load of this guy moaning about 'immigrants' while protecting the statue of a coloniser.

A lot of the protesters are from and were born in oxford, we don't want to rewrite history we just shouldn't be proud of some of the stuff our country did

You complain about rewriting history when you clearly have no understanding of Britain's racial history. For most of the 20th century, people from Commonwealth countries and ex-colonies were automatically legally-recognised British citizens, and thousands of them fought for Britain in both world wars. Why is your heritage as a Briton threatened by their heritage as Britons?

@@AMOW42 Ah yes I see. Thats why the British said the windrush generation are not British after they were brought to spend their youth working jobs the Brits refused to do🤣🤣🤣

Nkopo: I went to Oxford from the University of the Witwatersrand, and there I had already gotten involved with the Decolonise Wits movement and in organizing some of what would result in the Fees Must Fall movements. Rhodes Must Fall Oxford was a welcome and natural step in my career as an activist intellectual. It was also very appealing that the movement in Oxford was a global one in terms of the students involved and organizing in the small city. Is this a paid job? Paid by the likes of Mr Mugabe's legacy? There are many wealthy kids of corrupt leaders living gloriously here..... in the UK all lives matter equally. William Pitt ended slavery an ancient aspect that in fact is still happening..., how about being an activist for that!?

But English is the best language in the world though. I read about this guy. Cecil Rhodes, imperialist, yes. Bad guy.. not really. He was just purely and imperialist and just thought english was the best. I speak as a Norwegian, and English is legit the best language in the world in my view.
