    SUMMARY
    The Molekule Air Pro purifier is a high-performance unit designed to clean the air in spaces up to 1000 sf. That’s 40% more coverage than the original Molekule Air and 75% more coverage than the Molekule Mini. In our air purification tests, it removed 94.4% of airborne particulates, achieving a PM2.5 of 0.3, PM10 of 0.4, and AQI of 1. The Molekule Air Pro is easy to use either via Auto mode (with built in air quality sensor), Manual mode, and integrates with an app.
    Should you buy the Molekule Air Pro Air Purifier?
    Overall, I would say the Molekule Air Pro is an excellent purifier and a nice addition to the Molekule lineup.
    It is user-friendly, has excellent performance, and embodies a sleek aesthetic that looks more like a piece of décor than a traditional air purifier.
    I would recommend the Molekule Air Pro if you’re looking for an air purifier with the following features:
    Large Area Coverage: If you like the looks or technology of the Molekule air purifier, but have a larger space, the Air Pro is a great option. It offers nearly twice the coverage as the original Molekule Air and 4 times the coverage of the Molekule Mini.
    Excellent Performance: In our air purification tests it was able to reduce PM2.5 to 0.3, PM10 to 0.4, and AQI to 1. The data speaks for itself.
    Want in-app controls: The Air Pro pairs seamlessly with the Molekule app, making it easy to change settings, see real-time air quality, and check the filter replacement status.
    Max fan speed: This Molekule is also the only current unit to offer 6 fan speeds. These speeds can be set manually or using the Auto-Protect modes. Auto modes can automatically adjust speeds based on indoor air quality and particulate count.

    How does this perform when not on its highest speed? I have the original Molekule Air and definitely feel mislead by many of their claims, especially after reading more reviews on the unit and seeing how poorly it performs compared to the competition.

      I just ran this test for you this morning. I ran it in our standard testing room (10' x 14' with vaulted ceilings, door closed) on the lowest speed setting (1 out of 6 on the manual mode).
      Here's the results:
      Baseline:
      PM2.5 = 3.8
      PM10 = 5.6
      AQI = 15
      Particles = 566
      1 Hour Later:
      PM2.5 = 0.3
      PM10 = 0.4
      AQI = 1
      Particles = 139
      Honestly, I'm a little surprised it did as well as it did on the lowest setting. The 1 speed setting is extremely quiet. Even so, it achieved nearly the same result that we saw on the highest speed setting.
      Let me know if you have any other questions or there's anything else I can check out for you.

    I am happy to see the filter setup is more like the Mini+

    • @ModernCastle
      @ModernCastle  Před 3 lety +2

      Agreed. The hybrid filter is a definite improvement over the Air's 2 piece filter design

    Would love a PM1 test on smoke particles. Haven't seen that done with this model yet.

    • @ModernCastle
      @ModernCastle  Před 3 lety +2

      Yeah, as would I. I'm going to put it back on my list to look for an upgraded particulate measurement device and we'll see if we can add PM1 as a data point.

    I’m not a fan of that plastic base. It cheapens the look.

    • @ModernCastle
      @ModernCastle  Před 3 lety +3

      Yeah, I tend to agree. The original Air's complete aluminum look was very slick.
      I am guessing they did that to create a larger air inlet for better air flow, which may have been more difficult / expensive to do the aluminum in that design. Just a guess though.

    The Dyson is a good purifier. IQAIR is the best air purifier!!

      Hi Tim - what makes you say this about IQAIR? Curious as i am researching the best for us, 2021.

      @@susanbaker100the filtration and the reliability. I have 6 IQAIR machines with 2 of them that I have had for over 10 years and they run 24/7. I just change out the filters as needed. I have tried other brands and the difference in quality is there.

      Totally get you. For my money, I'm probably also getting a Dyson. Don't get me wrong...Air Pro is impressive, but $1,000 is $1,000...
      Thanks for not subscribing :P

      Modern Castle two dyson tp04’s or one molecule for relatively the same price. Proven technology versus new not as tested technology... change it filter twice less often, I’ll stick with dyson. Also I totally wasn’t subbed before 🤪

    • @ModernCastle
      @ModernCastle  Před 3 lety +2

      @@nickbien Yeah...exactly. Unless you really just don't like HEPA, it's hard to argue with that type of value driven logic. Plus, you can get 3rd party Dyson filters for much cheaper.

    • @nickbien
      @nickbien Před 3 lety

      Modern Castle are the 3rd party ones on Amazon good or could they not be hepa material. Or does it depend.
