    I’d rather my robot do my laundry and sweep the floor rather than somersault through my house!

    The depth of information and the clear comparison between Teslas Optimus and other robots like Atlas and Unitree H1 really helped me understand why Tesla Bot might be the future leader in robotics. Great job, Tesla Car World!

    There is no point in building robot bodies without figuring out you are going to provide the robot mind. Tesla FSD 11 -> 12 demonstrates quite convincingly that heuristics are not the way to go and neural nets are. That really only leaves Tesla and NVidia standing - everyone other than Tesla is just working for NVidia. You need to be able to do your inference on-board and therefore within a reasonable power envelope. As far as I can see, that only leaves Tesla in the competition - anyone else who has not licensed the Tesla platform may not yet have realised it but they are wasting their time.

    While other bots are entertaining, the Optimus bots are functionally useful in society.

    I love the idea of the Tesla Bot leading the pack by 2025, but I can’t help but wonder if they can iron out all the kinks by then.

    How do you think XPENG ROBOTICS? I think Xpeng's humanoid 🤖 achieved better moves than Tesla's Optimus, already 6 months ago. They picked up cups, bottles, and tissue papers and walked with good stability. Xpeng is maybe the most important company.

    Affordable robots under $20,000? Even if Tesla manages to produce them, will they actually perform as well as more expensive, specialized robots like Atlas or Unitree H1?

    • @TeslaCarWorld
      @TeslaCarWorld  Před 22 dny

      Currently Tesla's robots are performing very well when they are tested in factories, it probably only takes Tesla at least another year to confidently sell them to the market as Elon Musk shared.

    While Teslas promises sound exciting, Im skeptical about their ability to deliver on such an ambitious timeline. The robotics industry is incredibly complex, and catching up to companies with decades of experience, like Boston Dynamics, is no small feat.

    • @TeslaCarWorld
      @TeslaCarWorld  Před 22 dny

      Boston Dynamics' success is undeniable, but looking at what Musk is creating, accelerating the pace to bring them to market is a good advantage for Tesla by 2025. Perhaps if you still have doubts Doubtful about the capabilities of this humanoid robot, in the near future it will probably not only climb stairs and do housework at a faster speed. Tesla is improving Bot very well, up to 30% compared to before.

    So don’t you think we should get the mechanics right before we start talking about what the robot needs to look like, and so wouldn’t it be up to the customer to tell the manufacturer that, hey, we want X number of robot, and we want them to look like a typical female or a typical male person say in their 20s or 30s or we want them to look older and we want them to be of a certain height or a certain weight, and so all of these features will be dictated by the customer don’t change think. So remember what Elon Musk said about Tesla, that they’re building the machine that makes the machines. Cheers 🥂

    Everything I see Tesla Optimus do seems very staged. I do not see the robot learning or reacting to the environment. Its all claims so far and of course I do not believe anything claimed by Tesla and specially Elon who is a Master BSer.
    Atlas is impressive but I have no idea what Atlas would be good for in a home environment. So far, this is all intersting but irrelevant.
    It would be great to see if Optimus can do what is claimed. I see nothing yet.

    • @theodorehaskins3756
      @theodorehaskins3756 Před 18 dny

      So if it was easy, everyone would already have an Optimus working either in a factory or in our homes. So whether you believe that the technology works is irrelevant, and so until we can buy an Optimus humanoid robot dislike we can buy a car or a house today, optimist is not a real thing, it’s just a concept. Capeesh! Cheers 🥂

    While Optimus is looking superior to all the others in many areas, its face is very cold and featureless, making it less appealing for things that aim at human interaction(hospice, nursing homes, hospitals, home companions, etc) Ameca by Engineered Arts is amazingly human-like in facial features and interaction but lacks a true body. Some day these types of tech will merge, and it will truly be amazing when that happens.
