Great review. I got mine on launch day and I have loved it since. Your absolutely right the crease isn't noticeable unless your really looking for it but it doesn't affect me watching my media apps at all

The "crunching sound" is the brushes that protect the phone's hinge against dust. It's a good thing. 🧹
Great review! Concering the under display camera I think the only reason it's there is to be used with video conferences (MS teams / Zoom) and for this, having a camera on the inside screen without seeing it when not in use is really great!
I have the Z Fold4 1TB, and this phone is absolutely awesome! Phone, tablet & computer all in one device!
I what i really love about it is the flex mode it's very useful for camera mode
Man, I'm so in love with my fold. I can't see myself without it. Hands down, it's one of the best phones out here. When people get it, it will be a gamechanger.

I use the inner screen of my Fold 4 at least 70% of the time. It's just too good not to. The front screen is great in a pinch, but I just love using the inner screen too much.
The Fold 4 has been a great purchase. It has replaced carrying a laptop and tablet for me. Instead I carry a small folding keyboard in my everyday carry bag (much smaller and lighter than a tablet or laptop) and the Fold in my pocket. Then, when I get home, I plug it into my desktop monitor with USB-C and use Samsung DeX which allowed me to sell my desktop PC. It's so nice to have everything on a single device that I can just pick up from wherever I left off from not worrying about synching or transferring files.
I do not get the hate for the cameras. They're fantastic. The under-display camera is perfect for video calls - it's not meant for selfies and whatever. But on the unfolded screen taking a Teams video call, it's great and looks as good as any laptop camera in that situation.
As for the price, you can pretty much always get it for a discount, either straight up or with a trade-in. If you pay full price for the Fold, you're not trying hard enough.
Speakers... You're the first person I've heard complain about them. They're outstanding.
The OS updates being slow are an issue with your carrier, not Samsung. Most people outside of the US have no issues with updates. They just released the March update *before Google did on the Pixels*.
I have a iPad air , and a desktop the family bb uses it won't replace not for me but it would be good in a pinch . I like big screens

Active stylus function was the main benefit that had me on a v60 when they first came out, full functionality, pressure and tilt detection on all three screens. Glad to see Samsung is finally integrating them into the fold, this is great for graphic artists

I have the UB pro case by Supcase on my fold 3. It protects the hinge and the pen fits inside the hinge cover. Makes it much more convienent to carry the pen everywhere.
Glad I came across your videos . A fresh take on tech. For me the cameras on my fold 4 are pretty for it not to be a ultra

Great video brother, I recently picked up the Fold4 and I'm enjoying it a lot, I wish they would improve the camera like you said, if they do I'll trade in for the Fold5 later this year or I will switch to a new Pixel.

I didn't think I would like the s pen case but I actually really do like it. For one it's easier to grab the s pen then on the s22 Ultra (or S23) .. and secondly I actually like having something to hold on to when I'm holding the phone open... I rest my fingers on the pen holder.
You're right, it does help with holding the phone.
Speakers are great you crazy better then any other phone I've had otherwise great review

I'm still using the Fold 2 and love it. Still in great shape and running well. But if the Fold 5 has enough upgrades, I'll be changing to the new one.

It actually doesn't need a front/punch hole camera. Just use the rear camera @samsung. When we press switch to selfie the wide display Off and the front screen On and we good to go for selfie 🤳 or meeting (even though with small screen)
Great review. I'm opposite, I use the front 30% of the time. LoL it is buttery smooth when I do use it tho. I have an iPhone too but now I'm online using it to communicate with my family since they are all in the apple ecosystem. I'm loving the large screen for content and multitasking. I agree the speakers are shockingly weak. I'd love to see better speakers, cameras and battery in the next edition. I have no complaints for performance.

After Samsung 10 note since 2019, I've jumped to 2023 for my Fold 4, and I am enjoying it. Samsung does not disappoint 🙌
To make this the ultimate phone, incorporate the S-pen into the phone, add the cameras from the S23 Ultra and make it possible to use the S-pen on the front screen. Game over and goodnight!

It's good as it unique and convenience level which is usability & portability, just need to extra careful to take care hinge protect, the rest is well fine

thats the problems with carrier versions of all android phones in the usa is your months behind because the carriers want thier crap installed , better is an international phone , its cleaner and fast with updates , not samsungs fault on the firmware updates but down to where you bought it from.
What does everyone recommend for a case for the Zfold 4 , I've tried the spigen case and the hinge protector but it broke within 3 months of regular use
I use the torras that lets you have the spen and I just added a magsafe sticker

Glad you enjoy the phone, but durability is my main concern. Will this phone still be working in 6 years. I keep a secondary phone that I use a lot, I’m not sure this would last
I have the z fold 2 and z fold 4 and is a beast with my z fold 2 I used to go to the beach it even fell in the water and still working like new I updated to z fold 4 and gave the z2 to my son and believe me the phone is still alive and he have done worst to the phone by going with it to motorcycle competitions where my son always have some accidents and the phone still look like new believe it or not is a beast . I have insurance for that phone and never had to go to replace it

Watching on my S22 Ultra
My Z4 Fold display faied after 6 months of purchase. Now given it to the Service Centre who say it wd be 3 to 5 days for fixing. Really inconvenient. Been seeing several complaints about scree failing. So beare of Z$. Its highly priced and display failure after warranty would be half the cost of the phone.

Hey man, thank's for a great video. But let me just share some with you. You complained about the 'gab' there was when the phone was closed. Ok, let me tell you when this phone was made NOTHING was left to coincidence, the gap is there because of dust and maybe some small hard from your dirty pocket(if they are like mine) and you close your phone after a good video at the beach, and scratches WILL come, or would, for they found a way out of that problem :) If it close tight, it would be bad fast.

I'll never buy a fold from Samsung. My z fold 3 main screen had a black void down the middle ONE month after the warranty expired (Has never been dropped and 70% use was on the front screen) Samsung didn't give a sh_t!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Same thing happened to me ...I dripped once and got screen replaced through insurance claim ..post that all of a sudden one day black line came in the middle of the screen and the screen stopped working when phone is open ..I took to service center again ..they said I might have pressed gard while folding..which I don't do ..have used fold 3 before and know how to handle this...since screen replacement this time was so expensive I traded the broken phone for s22 ultra again and went back to same phone from which I had upgraded to fold 4....I felt phone is too delicate for use long term

I love my Fold4 but if they don't put their flagship cameras in future releases, I'm going back to a Galaxy. The camera is garbage. I came from an s20 Ultra and got better photos with that. Don't even think about zooming and taking a photo.
There is nothing wrong with their camera or zoom. It zooms at 30X and is great compared to their competitors. It is a 4, not a f 14 or f23. Those products that have been out for a minute didn't get this much criticism, but now the energy is here for the 4. The Galaxy line are not competitors as they have strengths to appease their consumers and compete with non Samsung products, not with the fold.
The building quality of this phone is a fucking trash my girl friend paid 515$ to change the screen after one drop and gest what she dropped the phone protecting cover , while the phone is clean from out side with 2 small dents the henge was damaged and she had to change the screen .
Not because the screen is damaged but the henge, when she took it to Samsung service center they said even thought the screen is good they can't fix small damaged part and they changed the whole screen , Haa 515$ for screen only this phone does not deserve it price just wait 2 models release and buy old model for huge discounts since there is no much deference since huawei left the market
So what I mean buy fold 3 when fold 5 released or nearly released
