    Stayed overnight at a rest-stop and woke up super hungry! I used my Bluetti EB3A, Dash Mini Rice Cooker and Dash Mini Pancake Griddle to make coffee and pancakes. You'll see how the Bluetti EB3A performed and how long it took to almost boil water with the Dash Mini Rice Cooker. Honest review, I am not getting paid to do this by Bluetti or Dash! This video is not sponsored! Oh, and my rear window curtain fell down. Roar. :-)

    I have a 12v water kettle that can heat up to 1 Liter, but heats faster if you’re just pouring in the mug’s worth into the kettle. Also, I have that model of Dash griddle that I make 1 egg omelets in (perfect size). I found making a fried egg sometimes messy. Also, you can cook 3 breakfast sized sausages in the Dash.

      I've been trying to find a 12v stainless steel kettle that I can use in combination with my EB3A. Not having luck, well, at least not having luck finding one in my price range!

      @@DeezRoads ok, I did some poking around… can’t find a 12v stainless steel kettle, but I can find several 110v stainless steel water boilers that draw only 300w & will heat/boil 300-500ml of water in just 5 minutes, which I think is very fast & shouldn’t suck too much electricity from your power station. Oh, I’m looking at the next size up Bluetti that is 800w with 1400 peak. It looks similar to yours in size, which matters because of the space available I want to stow it in my minivan.

      @@karinhart489 Thank you so much for that information! 300 watts is perfect, my Bluetti EB3A can definitely handle that! I purchased an immersion heater that heats water pretty quickly so I've been using that often or my butane stove - I'm just not so keen on having the open flame in the vehicle but so far so good. If I could have afforded the 800w with 1400 peak, I definitely would have selected that option - opens up the door to so many possibilities! Especially since the size is still manageable!

      Sure thing! There are probably a lot more options out there, this just seemed to be the easiest for me with what I have and considering I wasn't able to use my butane stove at the rest stop and stay stealthy at the same time...lol.

    I have the same Bluetti but mine didn’t come with a car charger which is quite aggravating. But it's good to know that the mini dash appliances work with it.

    • @DeezRoads
      @DeezRoads  Před 8 měsíci +1

      I thought mine didn't either but it was literally hidden in the packaging at the bottom. I almost threw the box out and decided to check one more time... there it was hidden in the bottom in between packaging materials. They really need to not hide the cords! lol

      I found a car charger cord from Amazon, and it seems to work well. I need a small solar panel but that’s for future me to worry about

    • @DeezRoads

      @@janineivey03121 I hear that! It was months before I bought a solar panel. Ended up getting a 100 Watt Renogy solar panel for around $85 on Amazon. I've had it a year or so and I don't have any complaints so far. I do kind of wish I bought the foldable ones instead, but hey, it's working...lol.

    Cuisinart art has a nice small coffee maker that only takes 500 ways. Your generator should work. It worked with mine. Faster heat time

    My little 12v Chinese rice cooker is faster. I cooke me a meal in 30 min with meat in it, using less power. I was looking at these mini cookers, but I changed my mind about it. I have the eb3a, but only would use it for lights and as a charger station. Anything will eat the power too fast. I got qa pecron with 1200w just got at $260, and it is a better deal for my camping and travel trips. Anyways if you can wait that long for your coffee eb3a is enough, me I need it right away first time in am then I become more patient the rest to the day. Good job!

    • @DeezRoads
      @DeezRoads  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Right! I love those things! I got that one in particular from a store in northern VA called Ebisu. I think they're available on Amazon, too. If you have a local Japanese market/store, they're probably available at a better price than Amazon.

    Can you give info regarding the Bluetti? I looked at one it was 5 grand. Not in my budget.

    • @DeezRoads
      @DeezRoads  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Absolutely! I think it's the cheapest Bluetti available right now. It's the EB3A and you can usually find it around $210. It can handle 600 Watts on AC. There are 2 ACs, 1 DC, 2 USB-A's and 1 fast charging (100 Watts) USB-C. There's also wireless charging on the top (15 Watts). It can charge via AC, DC or Solar Panel... I believe 200 Watts of solar is the max.
      Here's the Amazon (affiliate) link: amzn.to/3rbMK25 that offers a $90 coupon.
      The solar panel I use is a 100 Watt Renogy Solar Panel: amzn.to/3PLlAZo which is $83 right now.

    could you use a water kettle

      I think a water kettle would definitely be a better option. I'm having a bit of a hard time finding one that my power station can handle. I just need to keep looking! P.S. I love your CZcams name!! I can relate to 8 cups of coffee! LOL

    Interesting... i never even knew about that baby griddle... what about boat appliances? I heard they are made compact & energy conscious. Also i heard an alcohol stove is safer (I really don't know for sure but its what i saw on someone else's video). I think thats another thing they use on boats too

      @DeezRoads  Před 8 měsíci +2

      I absolutely love the baby griddle!! They're cheap too! I have an alcohol stove from Temu but have yet to use it. I heard that's safe in the car too but I still get nervous with flames inside the car. Thank you for the boat appliances tip. I'll have to start looking at that type of stuff!

      That's a great idea! I think I just need to break down and buy either weather tech or reflective. The type of velcro adhesive I'm using isn't reliable, especially in really cold or hot temps.

    How do you recharge your bluetti?

    • @DeezRoads
      @DeezRoads  Před 8 měsíci

      Most of the time I use solar, a 100 Watt Renogy solar panel, sometime I recharge with "house" electric. I do have the DC cord for the car but I'm reluctant to use the car battery for recharging. The worst case scenario always plays out in my head...lol.

      @@DeezRoads Use the DC cord only when you're driving, the alternator will charge the Bluetti not the battery. The blue light on the Dish Mini turns on and off when it's cycling between heating and resting at temperature.
