Jayps, thanks for the video. I watched it twice. Quite informative. Reading the comments was also quite helpful. This doubled the good knowledge that you provided.
I think you did a really really good job and just showing the product and the power of the product you did a hundred percent better than chicken by the lake
I have been researching solar batteries/generators and was leaning heavily towards the EB3. Your video sealed it for me. It’s the Bluetti EB3! Now to settle on Solar panels.
By no means its perfect..but its a very good unit to start with solar and for the price as well! For solar panel for the eb3a..pls check out my other video. Thanks for watching!
Thanks! I actually doesn't need to buy a more powerful battery than this one, but I wanted to make sure that I could open my garage door with it on the case the electricity goes out, like I usually did with my last baterry. With the garage door needing around ~370W to open, I feel safe to buy this battery after your review!
Wow, super cool test! I just purchased one for my skoolie conversion and plan to ditch the larger heavy AGM batteries and maybe just have a couple Bluetti units onboard to handle my power needs. Seems more compact and less weight, plus with the built in solar MMPT controller and inverter, there's more excess gear I can get rid of.
Quite impressive. I wouldn’t have guessed it can run a washer given the fact you mentioned. 12.5 amps at 120v = 1500 watts but the usage didn’t come anywhere close to that amount. Like you said that would be on max settings.
Who needs batteries! I wash my clothes with just an old Harbor Freight 2,000W inverter and four grid tie panels in my detached garage. No batteries or charge controller. Sun needs to be shining, but I line dry so it must be a nice day. Those panels also heat a 40 gallon tank just for the laundry with excess power. Those panels also help power the house. All cycles use hot water for extra clean and clothes come out steaming. I do have the same garden hose arrangement. By code I would have to install a water meter just for the garage if permanent. I hadn't bothered before just a couple days ago to measure how many watt hours laundry took. Just under 100WH. Can't save any money washing clothes with solar. Good thing panels, inverter, hot water tank, heater controller, and the LG washer altogether cost $500.
Watching this while autumn storm ruined electricity lines from my whole town.. Funny thing. Bluetti does not have dealerships in my country but in the morning I was asking about warranties and payment ways for the delta 2.. BTW. Before the power outtage came back 5 times and out again. I didn't even made it unplug my pc and AC. Hope they didn't get damages
I wash my clothes in a 10 gallon waste basket, $10, with a laundry plunger, rinse in the shower on clothes racks, $10 dollar general, then use the bluetti on the Panda spin dryer, $159,which does a super job getting water out. It's fast, cheap and actually fun beating the electric company. I then line dry the clothes inside or outside.
My panels heat a 40 gallon tank just for the laundry with excess power in my off grid house. All cycles use hot water for extra clean and clothes come out steaming. Set washer to COLD TAP and feed hot water into cold inlet. I hadn't bothered before just a couple days ago to measure how many watt hours laundry took. Just under 100WH. Can't save any money washing clothes with solar. Good thing panels, inverter, hot water tank, heater controller, and the LG washer altogether cost $500.
I am surprised cause I would never use it for that. It charges my phone and hand warmers and it uses lots of power. So for my washer I use my 720Wh ecoflow and it does a great job at it. Can not see EB3A doing it. But then I am not happy with mine.
there are a couple of ways to extend the EB3A capacity, of course solar panels. Another is a variable power supply. Ive run a test with my power supply set it to 28 volts @ 5 amps. I got over 100 watts. My power supply is only 30 volts @ 5 amps max. But if you have a 10 amp power supply you could get more wattage, max would be around 140ish Watts? at around 8 amps @ 28 volts. Another way is a 24 volt Battery or a couple of 12 volt in Series .
@@s.i.m.c.a you gonna carry all that around? Don’t forget you need an mppt in addition to your battery and inverter and circuit breakers everywhere. Oh don’t forget all the AC and DC plugs you need. Better get good at Tetris to fit all that in a smallish box.
Thanks for the video. However, and no-one has posted anything to help me in my quest for a battery "power station" in that I want to know for how long it will run my fridge, a Dometic/Waeco CFX 36 (35l). The manual's specs don't specify average power consumption, only its rated amps (when the compressor is running), which is around 60w. I wish that Bluetti would lend me a couple of its smaller units to test this. hint, hint... 😎
So did you turn on powerlifting mode or just normal? You mention xboost is off to prevent damage to your washer, is that the same as powerlifting? So it's better to not have it on ?
I see... thank u sir, small appliances we don't care for the risk but larger = expensive better not risk it lol. I understand now, but I am shocked it ran your washer. With 600 watt only .eb3a is a beast
Ran it in warm water. Anyways,I believe the hot water from most washing machine comes from a separate water heater from your home or apartment, so it wont matter if its hot or cold.
@@jaypstech correct. your hot water comes from the water heater in your home, apartment, etc. water temp is regulated by the machine by mixing hot and cold, just like a faucet.
I see my machine doesn't have a temp or a reduced spin don't think it will handle it it come up on my inverter about 1500w. That alot for a washing machine as I google it and they say a washing machine is around 800w.

If I plug any small device in, it automatically shuts off. Any advice? I've only used the cables that came with the purchase. That said it fluctuates a lot staying well below 450w most of the time.
It should do an LG Sidekick Washer. Please test.
