Jimmy Muller is a national treasure. He seems to be on point with the topics he discusses. He needs to fire up those machines and roll out some more gold 10 chokes.
If you can ethically make a kill then it’s not sky busting. You’re not bearding birds. Perfect practice makes perfect outcomes. Love it Jim and Titus.
Thanks!
After watching this I’ve made my mind up to go shoot some sporting clays this Friday.
Keep Jimmy Muller co-hosting. Literally cannot get enough
Always good stuff. I felt like I got preached to and I’m not mad about it!!
I can’t get enough of jimmy muller on the show!
Glad to hear it!
a group of us picked up muller chokes this season and man we destroyed some ducks this year. changing ammo type with this choke made a huge difference probably our best season to date.
Awesome guys! Keep the great info coming
Thanks! Will do!
Besides sporting clays, I find that getting out dove hunting is an awesome way to polish your wing shooting on live game, plus they're tasty as well.
I appreciate all this valuable information! I would be interested in Jimmy's opinion on different shotguns, brands, models, etc, and why one might be better than the other. For example, I know from the other podcast that he doesn't like benelli because they shoot to tight of a pattern. I'd be interested in what he thinks of the high end stuff like browning A5's etc as well as the budget guns like what i have (Stoeger M3000) for the average guy/gal.
Huge fan of your content and love these podcast with Jim Muller.
Is there any way you can ask him where we can find load data for those heavy pay loads and slower velocities? I've been looking online and I can't find any 12 gauge loads that are 1 3/8 at 1200 ish fps.
I love this series you are doing with Jim Muller. I have purchased several of his chokes and love them. I made a switch in my equipment to FABARM. I would like to hear his comments on the company. Take a look at the XLR Chesapeake. It is built like a tank with chromed internals.
Glad you like them!
I have been waiting on this one
Y'all just need to call me.
So I can do 85/100 on sporting clays. Same gun but using a skeet choke. Birds didn't die like I felt they should. Understanding the other variables. I shot an improved modified. With a 3/8 blend. When patterning it looked better.
When you are talking about different methods of lead are you keeping both eyes open while shooting? I find it difficult to try those methods when shooting with both eyes open
I understand the 1250 in the lead practice. What about size shot and what about if I'm using Hevi XII
He keeps saying if it starts faster it will slow down faster. Can someone please explain this to me that does not make any sense. If I have an object going 1200 feet per second in an object going 1500 feet per second and everything remains constant you mean to tell me that the object going 1500 feet per second is going to come to 0 feet per second faster than the object going 1200 feet per second?
Look up Newtons 2nd law
