I've been through ups and downs too in terms of making friends then losing friends, feeling lonely as people move on with their lives. Thanks for being so open and honest and making me realise that this happens to everyone and it's just a part of life x

Haha your parents even fears and stories are literally identical to mine. I would dread parents evening and for two weeks leading up to it, I would suddenly become the best and quietest student in class. Obviously the teachers didn't buy it and I still got the same 'Chinwe is too loud and chatty' critique everytime. The ominous silence in the car back home was too much, because once that front door closed, it was game over.
I loved watching this and learning about your early childhood struggles. My parents were immigrants too and struggled to provide a better life for me. Thanks for sharing!
your parents are impressive, and you and your siblings as well like that must have been a hard time but you turned out so perfectly

I'm only 11 and I love watching your videos. You inspire me alot and my big sister (15) idolizes you! And I guess the reason we like you so much is because your Nigerian (just like us) but you've aclomplished so much in life even if it had ups and downs and you have so much looking up for you. And we envy you but also look up to you a lot. I guess I better leave now because my sister is going to kill me if she finds out that I've just posted this comment for the whole world to see. ;)

Patricia, you seem to be an amazing person and you deserve all the good things happening to you. You are very strong ! I went through loneliness back in time when my mother changed me when I was 12. I love that you are so honest. I'm gonna let my daughter watch this video. She has been having issues at school for quite some time. I have been teaching her that having friends doesn't make you who you are. Staying true to yourself and loving yourself is what makes you who you are.

Excellent! I was following it like a reality show. LOL! I was so happy when your mom got a job, you all got a home and you got your dad back. Very inspiring story about the struggles and dedication of an entire family unit pulling together and supporting each other. Love it!
