    Thanks for the video. A real bad issue by both Bose and GM. This amplifier popping noise like jack hammer happened since on 2007 GMC Acadia. Either Bose has made a defective amp or GM bad rubber seal on the top outside of the windshield that allowed water get in after years.

    Excellent video! I just came back in the house from installing my Bose amp in my Wife’s 2010 GMC Arcadia. And you are correct. I am 5’11 302 all muscle, so that was very challenging fitting my hands and forearm up under the dash. Also try to twist my body in front of the seat..GMC.. smh. But ever works great! Thank you sir for all you do and I appreciate you!

      @@mantenimientomoderno4268 Yes it’s gonna take a while lots of patience but if I can twist myself at 285 511 you should be able to. I use the finger sockets.

    I used a pneumatic for the two lower bolts but that top one requires some small mitts ,still tryin to find some 😂

    I recently pulled an amp from a 2010 Acadia with part number 25796753. Looks to be the exact same amplifier just different part number. Do you think this would work in a 2014 Acadia Denali?

    OMG man, I just had to do this, my arm looks like it went in a bush hog

    Nice work. Did you re-connect the wires to the back of the new amp before or after you bolted it back in?

    • @ontheflyrepairguy1457
      @ontheflyrepairguy1457  Před 4 lety +1

      I bolted it first then I plugged the wires back in. It was the first time I made a video so it shut off before I could show that part.

      If your asking about the wires that connect to the amp you have to plug the amp wires in before you bolt it in or you won't be able to plug them in once its bolted

    What symptoms did you have prior to changing the amp?

    Can I just unhook my amplifier am I 2007 GMC Acadia until my new one comes in because it's making crazy noises

      Sorry it took so long to reply I don't see why not but I would ask a mechanic because it shouldn't make noises unless your Amp is good and you have a loose or broken line

      My amp was popping my speakers with distortion even after I turned the vehicle off. I pulled the fuse and went without the stereo until I got the new amp installed.

  • @mantenimientomoderno4268

    Oh my God!!! You didn't show the way you reconnected the harness plugs...

    • @kevinclair9999
      @kevinclair9999 Před rokem

      There's only one way it goes, the plugs won't fit in the wrong slots
