What a fab video I love the speed of it as it helped me grasp what I have to do. I have some small grandchildren I would like to surprise with a bracelet each what length of thread would you recommend the eldest is 7 so they have small wrists. I’m think 12 inches and then double it over to start knotting would you agree? Thanks for your help x

It depends on what pattern you’re doing. I don’t measure so I just eye it out 😊 but I would suggest looking at other videos on bracelets and how much they would recommend. Overall thank you!

On a few other videos, They say to pull at a angle depending on the kknot you’re making. Is this true? If so please explain, I have been trying and practicing and my work is always ugly with holes & loose spots. Please help! Oh yeah I only have one hand and my mouth to work with. Hold base string in mouth and the working string I use my right hand.

the only thing I could think of that could maybe help is to place your piece on a hard surface and tape it down really good and start knotting like that maybe?

You don't show where the threads go after the knots. All patterns I've seen show that the base string changes sides?

This isn’t a pattern or a bracelet of any sort. This video was intended how to make your knots when it comes to creating a friendship bracelet. Hope that clears it up.

some bracelet patterns are necessary to use those specific knots to achieve the pattern look. if you go on bracelet book for example you’ll see certain patterns using these knots. Hope this helps.
