- Join me for my first ever visit to Chessington World of Adventures in May 2021, a beautiful theme park in England, and a stay at the Chessington Safari Hotel! We enjoyed dark rides, roller coasters, delicious lunch and amazing sunny weather in England at this fun, adventure themed park! I got to ride some favorites like Vampire, Dragon's Fury, The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure, Rattlesnake, Zufari Safari ride, Tomb Blaster and more! We enjoyed lunch at Smokehouse BBQ & Bar and dinner at Temple Restaurant and just had an all around wonderful, fun time! I am loving exploring more U.K. theme parks and learning about and enjoying all they have to offer, and of course sharing it with you!! Have you ever been to Chessington? Thanks for watching!

I didn't realize until I heard him speak that Sam was the one who does Expedition Theme Park.
Same here... was wracking my brain trying to think where I'd heard him before, then I realised.
I’m so glad to see what tourists think of our uk theme parks!
For Halloween, Vampire, Tomb Blaster and Rattlesnake had live actors in the queues and it really took the themeing on both rides to the next level!

Hi, thanks for sharing your adventures with us. We love it. That park looks awesome. The rides are really spinny wild, but look fun. All the rides are awesome themed. I thought everyone knew what a Gruffalo was 😄lol. Just kidding. I love those books and the animation movies from it too. There's a Gruffalo Child too. I have them and enjoy. I even have Gruffalo coloring books too. The mouse in the story is funny cute too. Thanks, so much fun. Hope you continue having fun adventures on your trip. Be Safe Take Care.
The imperial leather soap overlay of professor burps was such a huge insult to an amazing dark water ride. At least the Gruffalo does it some justice
They really went all out on vampire. The new drop ride looks like a really long line for the style of ride. I'm glad it was sunny

Chessington is definitely my favourite merlin park. The theming and atmosphere is unmatched in my opinion.

That organ player animatronic went through a massive overhaul about a year ago. It was just bad as it squeaked and was so jerky before. Now it has a new look and it works.

It used to be so much better! The station is so much brighter. Merlin don't really give the TLC the parks deserve and our winters do make things look grubby fast.

Hi Jackie.. cool vlog the Gruffalo is quite a famous kids story over here with a Rol Darl kind of vibe to it and there is also a pro touring theatre show version (which I have worked on several times over the years) with music and catchy tunes too.. it’s a thing 👍🏼🙂

I'm glad you enjoyed another best of British theme Park. Vampire is the most impressive roller coaster because of its themeing and when seeing one of its 2 trains fly over your heads, it's really nice

Followed Sam for years, don't know why it's taken me this long to watch your videos! The Vampire was the first coaster I ever went on, back in the mid 90's, absolutely adore that ride!!!

Vampire is my number one ride on the park, I visited for the first time at the weekend and the theming is absolutely incredible. The actual layout of the coaster is amazing too!

The vampire playing organ in the ride station, is an old wax work from Madame Tussaud’s of Phil Collins. This was used as Tussauds used to own a lot of the theme parks in the uk until Merlin took over.
The whole area where the vampire ride is, was designed by a man called John Wardley, he is responsible from some of the best rides and attractions in the uk, and he is also such a nice guy. Look him up, it is really interesting to watch the videos he has made and been in.
hi Gruffalo is a popular story in preschool centers. Children love the story.
Chessington is one on my favourite UK theme parks. The they don't have as many thrill rides as Alton towers or Thorpe park but the theming is more consistent and the park just feels nicer to be in.

LOVED watching your UK videos last year so I was so excited about this. Chessington is my local park and I love it so much. I feel like I become completely lost in the theming and revert back to being a kid. The queue line theming for vampire is so much fun! We went to the smokehouse for the first time earlier this year and really enjoyed it (the meat platter is really good!). I really want to stay at the hotel this year! Enjoy the rest of your stay :)
