More of a technical video today. My Carly sent me there coding and diagnostic bluetooth tool to test out.
This thing basically give you a back door into your VAG car so you can unlock new features, diagnose & clear error codes.
Theres so much more this thing can do but was difficult to squeeze it all into one video without dragging it out.

you’ll need proper diagnostic software like vagcom to clear the spoiler light and airbag light. i’ve got the chirp on my r32 and its nice to have.
That was great, that little gadget , being able to set all those features on the TT, Also laughed at the mini sketch ' he's filming his hair dresser car again' lol.😆😆😆😆

Carly is great I use on my E46 M3 but it does occasionally seem to generate random faults when there’s actually nothing wrong with the sensors which is a bit weird. I’d did a few things like chirp on locking/unlocking and brake lights flashing when you brake really hard
Love the fact you drove to the middle of no where with no instructions and no idea how to use for the 1st video you make with it though!! 😂😂😂👍🏻

because i have an audi tt mk2 3.2 vr6 and i don’t have it.
when this little thing can turn the daylights on or the headlights when i unlock my car without these sensors, would be sick!!!

VCDS can remove the spoiler warning light, and can do a lot more. Costs more, but Carly for VAG is not cheap.

All you need is a cheap risistor to plug into the spolier plug to get rid of light. 3 quid max. I had to do same when i swapped standard stearing wheel for oem. Minus airbag.

Thanks for the vid. Just Got my first Audi TT 2.0TFSI, clicked on the link and reading through the website. Do you have to purchase a pro app to unlock all the changes to make? It was also saying you get one Fault or diagnosis, can you only use it once then.
Yes. You have to purchase the obd2 then purchase the app pro. Which is about £55 a year every year.
You car has the standard wing still installed. to stop it still raising as you have the optional spoiler on they might have unplugged it instead of de coding it?
You need to code the spoiler out... Obdeleven or VCDS can do it. It's under the CECM, long coding helper, spoiler installed gets deselected. Done.
Do they do one for ford?

I already do this for many years with my TT with the VAG cable and it is much cheaper 20 €, I have access to many more functions than Carly! But for beginners Carly is good!

Hey Matt, you have a 2006 Audi TT, is it the V6 or V4?
It’s a 2008 or newer, 2006 was the first gen tt, this is a mk2. There’s no such thing as a v4 in a car, But he does have a 2.0L four cylinder.
Each side has 2 Turn signal bulb. The outer bulb is not working

Coding off and clearing faults are different thing example code off dpf boot actuators.....
bear on mind these cheaper diagnostics can only mainly do simple things read faults clear them lights... on a Bmw the car tells you the fault codes on the dash google it fix the issue the bmw clears the faults on it’s own
Bit wary of sticking anything in the obd, scared it might mess with my remap...??
Very few OBD tool have the capability to reprogram/flash the ECU. Even generic ELM327 can do what he does using Carista app. Buy a remapping tool then Clone your ECU. The tool is very cheap.
I think your spoiler error will come up every time because it gets checked at start and the hardware is gone. Other light cleared because the problem was fixed and it just needed the fault cleared.
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO DO THE “WELCOME LIGHTS” with OBDELLEVEN ?!?!
Can’t you put the motor inside the boot lid wired up again? dismantle the movement mechanism part of it. couple of cable ties holding it so it doesn’t rattle around hopefully the car will think it’s still working the light should go off and you don’t have to spend money on it.

You can actually do the beep unlocking / locking on the keyfob but I don't remember how to do it off the top of my head.

As far as I am aware you require an Android phone as the Carly does not work on Apple. Is this correct ?
There's 2 apps now for android and IOS so you can work it on either phone now 👍

How much for a short back and sides
Just go to a Audi dealership. They decode your car having the spoiler in no time. The warning light gets off and the spoiler button doesn’t work any longer.
If you hold the unlock down on the key fob it lowers the windows just saying...
Lol i turned all that stuff off, pointless and i personally know 2 people who accidentally sat on their remote in their coat pocket indoors, and unlocked and lowered their windows to their car parked out on the street without realising.

As a disgruntled user of Carly, I find it frustrating that they continue to charge for device usage. I'm considering purchasing a conventional car scan tool instead.

Be aware....after buying this tool you have to pay an annual subscription of € 55.
I have spoken to Carly and they have said it’s a one off fee for Carly for VAG.
Just download Carista off the app store, pay £8.99 for a weeks full access and it does EXACTLY the same as this Carly app. I don't get it....this guy already had Carista on his phone so should've already done all this stuff to his car?
Bruh I also have the same warning issue with Left Rear Indicator even tho its actually working plus Right front Beam which is also working

It works on TT up to 2010, if your car is 2011 or newer it wont read all ecus and you won't be able to modify anything like on the older versions
