- We had the most amazing weekend celebrating Chinese Lunar New Year with our family! This is our fifth year together with Penelope and Lincoln since we adopted them and it's the biggest day of the Chinese Calendar by far, so we always have such a wonderful time feasting and enjoying lots of family time! Also our friends at TNT sent us the sweetest package of Lunar New Year Themed Fireworks and confetti cannons to shoot off and everyone had so much fun! Not to mention making all our home made dumplings from scratch, playing Chinese New Year Bingo, watching the Chinese New Year Gala, and of course, face timing with Penny's foster family back in her home town! It's truly their favorite day of the year and they were SO HAPPY to get to celebrate! #chinesenewyear #lunarnewyear #aapi #adoption

This is why this family is my favorite CZcams family! I love how exceptional Amanda and Stephen are as parents! Extremely loving, understanding and easy going. Happy Lunar New Year everyone! I used to live in pretty diverse neighborhood. My neighbor across the street are Chinese, when it's Imlek (Chinese New Year) they gave some nian gao to my family. This year I was really craving to eat some nian gao, it's pretty easy actually to buy it but no I decided to make one myself. It's not hard at all, even it feels rewarding to me personally. Learning more about others culture is so exciting.
